Villains Always Die from Talking Too Much

Spider-Man reacted quickly, using his web to swing around within the dilapidated mansion. However, in the end, he had to break a window to enter, landing not so gracefully.

What's worse, just as he stood up from the ground, the Green Goblin laughed maniacally and threw a pumpkin bomb!

The bomb exploded almost right in Peter's face, sending him flying. The explosion tore half of his mask, and his Spider-Man suit was tattered, making him look disheveled.

"Miserable, truly miserable. It's all your choice. I considered you a friend, but you treated me with disdain!"

The Green Goblin, arrogantly, approached the battered Spider-Man, perhaps feeling confident of victory, and fell into the common villain flaw of talking too much.

As he rambled on, he continued to ruthlessly beat Spider-Man. Spider-Man already exhausted from saving people and taking a pumpkin bomb, was now covered in wounds, powerless to resist.

Of course, Spider-Man didn't give up the fight. His willpower was remarkably strong. Even at in absolute disadvantage, he continued to resist desperately. Unfortunately, with extensive physical depletion and injuries, he was no match for the Green Goblin.

Finally, the Green Goblin grabbed his neck, with a sinister and evil tone, provocatively said, "Originally, I was going to give your girlfriend a quick death, but now you've angered me. I'll slowly torture her to death!"

He took out a sharp trident, smirking, "By then, Mary Jane and I will surely have a lot of fun!"

Seeing this, some viewers cursed the shamelessness and arrogance of the Green Goblin. Of course, there were also others who loved him, like scum and villains in New York, but were also cursing him:

"You've already won bastard, can't you just stab him to death?"

"Does he have to boast so much, why can't he just kill him?!"

Spider-Man, acting as a vigilant and righteous figure in New York, with the help of the player's data panel and sending his uncle and aunt to another world, had become more radical and active than in the original timeline.

This made those scum and villains uneasy. Once targeted by Spider-Man, they couldn't defeat him in a fight, nor escape. They would likely end up in prison.

Watching the future video, when they saw Spider-Man being brutally beaten by the Green Goblin, they cheered loudly, expressing their approval. "Good, that's how Spider-Man should be beaten! Beat him to death!"

Of course, some scum and villains, seeing Spider-Man bleeding in the video, were quite surprised. In their encounters, Spider-Man was like an invincible freak, unaffected by knives, guns, or even bombs and RPGs.

One time, Spider-Man was ambushed by the mafia, and caught in a hail of bullets. A normal person would have been shredded, but Spider-Man emerged unscathed, terrifying the mafia.

Little did they know, it was all due to Spider-Man's player data panel. Spider-Man wasn't truly immortal; his body had turned into a game player's data stream. He had a health bar, and once it emptied, he would die. However, even with a single drop of blood remaining, Spider-Man showed no external signs of injury, unaffected in appearance or actions.

In the eyes of Spider-Man's enemies, he was a true freak, impervious to death!

Regardless, when they saw Spider-Man being beaten and suffering in the video, they were excited. They wanted to take the place of the Green Goblin and beat Spider-Man themselves.

After gaining the upper hand, instead of quickly finishing Spider-Man, the Green Goblin started to talk nonsense and insult Spider-Man's girlfriend, making the criminals very unhappy.

They thought the Green Goblin was being too talkative and predicted trouble!

Indeed, the dispirited Spider-Man, upon hearing these words, seemed to be injected with adrenaline. He immediately burst with unlimited potential, grabbing the Green Goblin's trident and forcefully throwing him away.

The Green Goblin crashed into the wall, attempting to counterattack after getting up. Spider-Man shot out two strands of webbing, one binding his legs, and the other pulling down the wall behind the Green Goblin.

The front wall firmly pressed down on the Green Goblin, burying him alive.

The Green Goblin didn't die immediately, having superhuman abilities. But as soon as he stood up from the collapsed wall ruins, Spider-Man, with his webbing, sent him flying again, thoroughly beating him.

Spider-Man immediately launched a counterattack, and the situation instantly reversed. Under a barrage of punches and kicks, unlike Spider-Man's previous resilience when brutally beaten, the Green Goblin quickly knelt, begging for mercy, "Don't hit me, it's me, Peter!"

He took off his mask, revealing his true face. Peter Parker in the video stopped his hands, eyes widened, "Mr. Osborn?!"

Spider-Man didn't expect the Green Goblin to be Norman Osborn, the father of his good friend. Recalling their past interactions, Norman Osborn had left a good impression on Spider-Man. He was a successful businessman, and Peter respected him. Now, he couldn't believe Norman Osborn had become the monstrous Green Goblin!

"You've killed so many innocent people!"

Spider-Man stared at the Green Goblin in disbelief. Although he stopped attacking, he remained vigilant.

Norman Osborn, or rather the Green Goblin, looked innocent, loudly defending himself, "Those were all Green Goblin's doings, nothing to do with me! Don't let him control me again, please, protect me!"

The audience outside the screen couldn't help but exclaim at Norman's cunning. As bystanders, they had witnessed how Norman Osborn had turned into the Green Goblin.

Indeed, initially, Norman Osborn might have had a split personality due to the immature super soldier serum, resulting in the emergence of the cruel Green Goblin persona.

However, after killing members of the Osborn Industries board, Norman Osborn and the Green Goblin persona completely merged. As Arthur had said, both personalities were Norman Osborn. He was the Green Goblin!

"Don't believe him, this scoundrel is the Green Goblin. He's too cunning. At a time like this, he still wants to defend and whitewash himself?"

"Despicable Green Goblin, he has beaten Spider-Man so much. Look at the pitiful state of this kid. Now he wants to deceive him!"

"I like Spider-Man more now. Compared to Iron Man, Captain America, or Batman, he's like the young guy living next door to me. He's really a good person."

The audience outside loudly reminded Spider-Man, but the Spider-Man in the video obviously couldn't hear them. He seemed somewhat swayed by Norman Osborn's words, or perhaps, the Green Goblin's acting was exceptionally convincing.
