A Gift for the Next Tony Stark

Peter gave a long-winded explanation, listing all sorts of reasons in the hopes of convincing Nick Fury to let him skip the trip to Prague.

Everyone knew that dealing with Fury wasn't easy. When you needed him, he was nowhere to be found. But the moment something went wrong, no matter where you tried to hide, he'd find you. He was like a relentless shadow, always lurking. Naturally, convincing someone like him was no simple task.

Yet, faced with Peter's relentless chatter, Fury simply gave a calm response: "Alright, I understand." Then he had someone send Peter back.

This left Peter both surprised and relieved. No matter what, it seemed like he had managed to keep his vacation intact.

But outside the screen, Stephen scoffed, "Ha, you're celebrating too soon. I'd bet anything Fury isn't letting you off that easily."

And he was right.

The next day, just when Peter thought he could continue his summer vacation, he was shocked to discover that the school trip had changed course—now they were heading to Prague.

The teacher leading the group explained that the travel agency had upgraded their itinerary and accommodations, making the entire trip free of charge. They even got a luxury tour bus. But Peter immediately recognized the stone-faced man standing silently at the bus door—one of the agents he had seen at Fury's secret base the night before.

So much for an "upgraded travel package." When persuasion didn't work, Fury had simply gone with brute force.

Peter sighed, "Nick Fury just kidnapped my vacation."

Outside the screen, Strange chuckled. "See? Told you so."

Pietro frowned. "Even when Fury does good things, he still manages to look like the bad guy."

Peter nodded in agreement and muttered under his breath, "Not to mention, he looks like a villain."

To a kid, judging whether someone was good or bad often came down to appearances. Steve Rogers, for example, had that classic hero look—upright, righteous, the kind of guy you could trust at first glance.

And then there was Fury—scarred, one-eyed, a face that practically screamed "dangerous man."

The players watching the video kept chatting idly, their eyes never leaving the screen.

On-screen, Peter and his classmates boarded the bus to Prague.

Peter wasn't too happy about the change. Originally, they were supposed to go to England, and he had already made plans. He'd researched the best spots to impress MJ. But with their destination changed, he had to start over and look up romantic locations in Prague instead.

As he scrolled through his phone, he curiously pulled out the glasses Tony Stark had left him. A small note inside read:

"To the next Tony Stark, I trust you. Say 'E.D.I.T.H.'"

Putting on the glasses, Peter couldn't help but reminisce about his time with Tony—the battles they fought together, the lessons he learned.

Tony had been both a mentor and a father figure to him. Back then, whenever he messed up, Tony was always there to clean up the mess. But now… Tony was gone.

Shaking off the sadness, Peter followed the note's instructions and spoke the command: "E.D.I.T.H."

Immediately, the lenses changed, scanning his irises and verifying his identity.

It turned out these weren't just ordinary glasses. They were equipped with an advanced AI—E.D.I.T.H., which stood for Even Dead, I'm The Hero. A classic Stark move.

E.D.I.T.H. controlled a powerful AR-linked defense system connected to satellites in space. The glasses were incredibly advanced, giving the wearer near-unlimited access to information.

Curious, Peter started testing them and quickly realized their terrifying potential. With just a glance, he could scan everyone on the bus—accessing their phones, identities, personal data. With these glasses, he could become the ultimate hacker in seconds.

Tony had left him quite the surprise.

Of course, to the average person, this wasn't exciting—it was terrifying.

In today's world, most people had two identities: one in real life and one online. But through these glasses, all those hidden identities were completely exposed, as if everyone was standing naked in front of them.

No one would be comfortable with that.

Outside the screen, a crowd had gathered outside Stark Tower, their anger boiling over.

Police officers and Stark Industries' security teams moved in quickly, dispersing the demonstrators. Among them were agents from S.H.I.E.L.D., the FBI, and even the CIA, coordinating their efforts. Unlike the initial chaos when the Quiz game first appeared, officials had become much more efficient at handling these incidents.

Every time a new round of the Quiz game started, large crowds would flock to Stark Tower. If the game's video had nothing to do with Tony or the Marvel universe, people just treated it like an outdoor watch party.

But the moment it involved Tony or something controversial, protests would break out.

Stark Tower had become an iconic landmark, making it the perfect stage for public demonstrations. With so many media outlets always present, it was a prime location for making headlines.

This was exactly why Tony rarely came here anymore, and why the Avengers had chosen a different base.

Marvel's audience was outraged by the idea of Tony having surveillance-level access to people's private lives, but there wasn't much they could do.

Americans loved talking about privacy rights, but in reality, personal data breaches were commonplace. Besides Stark Industries, what major tech company wasn't guilty of it?

And that wasn't even mentioning S.H.I.E.L.D., the FBI, or the CIA—organizations that had been monitoring people for years.

Privacy? At this point, it was just a fairytale people liked to tell themselves.

Of course, the glasses Tony left for Peter weren't just about spying on people. That was just the tip of the iceberg.

Since the trip to Prague was a last-minute change, Peter hadn't brought his suit. Ever the considerate guy, Fury arranged for a new one to be made for him.

During a rest stop, a female agent handed Peter the new suit.

Which led to a rather awkward situation.

A young man. A female agent. Alone in a room. And Peter had to change.

Just when things couldn't get worse, his romantic rival walked in.

The guy immediately snapped a photo of Peter half-dressed and smirked, "I'm gonna show this to MJ. Let her see what kind of guy you really are. Flirting with other girls on a school trip, huh?"

Peter was speechless.

First, Fury kidnapped his vacation.

Now, his love life was about to get ruined too.
