"Auntie, is Philip close to Betty?"
Cecy didn't think much and nodded, "Their relationship is pretty good. Betty has been in foster care since she was young and has always been cautious and hardworking, so several of the household staff, including the servants, take care of her.
Philip is about the same age as Betty and they get along well."
"He wouldn't also like Betty, would he?"
Cecy shook her head and smiled, "I'm not sure about that. I don't pay much attention to other people's feelings, but judging from Philip's attitude, it probably isn't the case. But why do you ask?"
"Well, I just think that if Philip knows enough, maybe he will know something. I want to ask him."
Cecy stood up, feeling somewhat exasperated, and patted her on the head. "Do you think everyone's mouth is as loose as mine? Philip regards your grandfather's command as a holy edict and won't talk nonsense. So you don't need to ask, you won't get anything out of it."
