And so, a hundred years passed. As the years passed, mortals died and new ones were born, and the darkness the world experienced soon fell into oblivion. But for the cultivators, a hundred years was only a short period, and what they experienced that day was still engraved in their souls.

During that time, Red Demon Mountain became the home of the Demon of Destruction Sect, and they made San Meili the leader of the sect. Without his knowledge.

When he learned that his mountain now had a sect, and he was its leader, San Meili almost drove the entire mountain range into non-existence. It took Xiao Lian to convince him of the opposite, along with his adopted daughter, whom he named the same as his sworn brother's little sister, San Mei'er.

A little calmer and with two hundred gourds filled with the best of drinks, San Meili reluctantly accepted that. The years passed quietly while San Meili was completely focused on raising his little girl, and teaching about martial arts and cultivation, while going around the world showing her all that the world had to offer.

Until, the second-worst day of San Meili's life came.

In a Chinese-style palace, in one of the cultivation rooms, San Meili was sitting cross-legged, in the lotus position. He was still missing his arm, and had a pale complexion. His eyes no longer had that crazed look, his face was expressionless, as he looked at the young woman in front of him.

The young girl, or rather San Mei'er, was red-faced with anger as she snorted and looked at her foster father. She looked like she was in her teens, however much she was already over eighty years old. She was tall at six feet, with long, beautiful legs and a thin waist. Her bust was modest, but her baby face and snow-white skin made people not notice this. She was a beauty in her own right, and no one dared to say that she was not a beautiful young woman.

"Why can't I go! All the core disciples are going! I'm going to do what you always tell everyone to do, dad, train getting stronger!!!" She said, still huffing with anger.

"I said no! Going to train in a forbidden zone? What are these kids thinking?" San Meili replied, still expressionless.

This discussion continued for a few more hours until San Mei'er gave up and came out with only three words, "I hate you, Daddy!"

It was the first time San Meili had shown such an expression in many years. Terror. He stood up to follow his daughter, but she had already left.

"Must be the rebellious phase... yes... my cute little daughter is not a heartless monster..." San Meili kept muttering this to himself and did something he hadn't done in a long time, he went to sleep.

Hm? Where am I? Yes... I remember arguing with my little girl about going to a dangerous place... why is it so dark and wet in here?

Stuffing myself in that cramped place, I tried to free myself from those hard walls that prevented my movement.

Could it be that the demons finally got tired of waiting and tried to seal me in? How laughable! Nothing can seal me in!

Moving vigorously, I finally heard the creak, and was able to break out of the demons' seal... or so I thought.

I tried to get up as soon as I got out of that place, but soon discovered that I couldn't feel my legs, or my arms... hell I can't feel any Ki!!!

Where am I?! What have they done to me?! Where are my limbs and why the hell can't I see clearly?! Ok, calm down, getting desperate is not going to solve anything.

Calming my breathing, I closed my eyes and took a moment to accept the situation I was in. First of all, I was already a survivor, if I don't have arms or legs, all I need to do is crawl. And so I did.

And it was incredibly... easy. After crawling, I opened my eyes, and saw that strange shape again. Everything was dark, but some parts were red or orange... easy! I know what this is, it's similar to a technique Xiao Lian had used to hunt demons before... he called it infrared vision.

And the seal I thought I came out of, was actually an egg, I came out of an egg! You don't have to be a genius to think much about it. I have no limbs, this weird vision, and I came out of an egg.
