Uncontrolled

Before anyone could react, a light shone above San Meili's head, and just then he opened his mouth and used the most powerful Nature Judgment he could!

BOOOOM

Despite the strong impact, it was completely focused on Flugel, and only the remnants of the explosion hit the others, but Jorge was protected by San Meili's tail and his mother was too powerful to have any effect on her. But Hellen was sent flying...

"I'm going to kill that damn snake!" She muttered as she stood up.

Flugel just frowned, not because it hurt or hurt him, but because it was the second time this snake cub had challenged him. Make no mistake, magical beasts have a very strict hierarchy, and defying it can lead to death. Before the light faded, however, dark roots surrounded him. But these roots were unlike anything he had ever seen, they were gray roots, almost black, but there were purple veins all over them.

He didn't really see this attack coming because of the previous flashy attack, which meant that even though San Meili was lost in anger, he still retained some of his sanity. As soon as Amanda opened her mouth to scold her cub, something that neither she nor anyone else on the scene expected to happen, happened,

*************

I still remember that day vividly. Obviously I would remember, half of my entire existence had to change that day. When I was 10 years old in my previous life, I spent 100 days without sleep, afraid to go back to the Dark Dimension. I had had enough of that place, and was on the verge of madness. But there was no way, I came back.

Every night that I slept and went to the Dark Dimension, while hours passed in the real world, centuries or millennia passed in that hell. This time, however, was one of the worst times of all. There was a tree in that place, or rather a dead tree. It was so tall that I couldn't see its top. The Dark Dimension had several floating islands, some as small as floating rocks, others as large as the Buxiu continent.

I still remember that I was wounded, I had come out of a fierce fight, having narrowly survived after running away and hiding. When I found that tree, I thought it was an auspicious sign. After all, in this dead world, a tree would be a sign of change and good luck, right? Wrong! Completely wrong!

That tree tried to suck my whole existence away. It first shattered a part of my body, turning my leg to dust. Then my soul, a part of which, was torn away. And even a part of my emotions were sucked out by that damn tree!

And that's what I used now. I don't know how I managed to apply what that tree was doing, or even know if that tree followed me from the Dark Dimension into this world. I wasn't thinking about anything at the moment. I just knew one thing, I had to ward off the threat that is this man with wings, and using those roots, it was just instinctive.

At first, he found the roots annoying, I could tell by his expression. But then he began to feel the terror they represent, as his skin began to crumble into dust!

"Puppy! What have you done? Don't kill him! If you kill him, Mom will have to stay away for several months to explain the situation to the matriarch!"

Hearing my mother's voice, I woke up from my crazed state, and tried to undo what I had done... but I didn't know how. I started to get a little desperate, as I didn't want my mother to be gone for months!

Flugel, which I think is his name from what the vampire girl and my mother said, managed to free himself from the roots, but he was still frowning. Apparently the effect of my roots was less than the original, which is quite frustrating...

At that moment, even without using Shadow Vision, I could see Lu Bao Shi in front of me. Her compound eyes were shining, as she conveyed something to me... not words or emotions, but I could understand her instructions. Lu Bao Shi, this butterfly-shaped angel, would help me! Don't even ask me why, I don't care, as long as she helps me! I won't be away from my mother for months!

Transmitting my spiritual energy to Lu Bao Shi, everyone looked at me when I did this. Maybe they thought I was going to attack again. My mother wrapped her giant body around me, cutting off my eye contact with the winged man. Maybe she was trying to calm me down, but... she almost crushed Jorge, who was clinging to the rattle of my tail! Okay, we need a few things for the future. A wall on our property, a door to our cave, and I need to tell my mother that she can't almost crush Jorge every time he comes near me!

When my spiritual energy was near its end, Lu Bao Shi shone, and I am sure that everyone saw and felt his light. Even my mother trembled when she felt it, and the winged man's eyes widened, and the vampire girl trembled uncontrollably, while Jorge just clapped his hands... maybe Jorge has a headache? I mean, everyone felt fear when they felt Lu Bao Shi, but why is it that only he seems excited and happy? He is even looking at my mother with a smug look! I have another task for later: to ground George.

After the glow stopped, I felt something in my head, and using Dark Vision, I confirmed that it was Lu Bao Shi. She must be tired... whatever she eats, I will give it to her until she is satiated! After all, she saved my ass today...

When it was all over, my mother gave me an irritated look. Maybe I overdid it today... in my defense, our species is easily controlled by its emotions!

Amanda sent her problem child out of the cave together with Hellen, the vampire girl, and Jorge. She loved her cub and was glad that she cared for her to the point of attacking someone stronger than her to protect her. But things were more problematic when it came to the matriarch. She had many questions to ask him when she was done with Flugel, like what were those gray roots, and what was that light that made her body shudder incontinently. But now was not the time for that. She knew that her puppy would explain everything to her later. With a glance at Flugel, who was still shocked by all the events, she sighed.

"Flugel, you know my species, and you know how we react when someone approaches something we think is ours. And yet, you took such action in front of my cub. I hope this will not be repeated." As he said the last sentence, Amanda's eyes flashed dangerously, with a not-so-veiled threat. She knew he was stronger than she was. But if they both fought, he would not come out unscathed. That is the real reason why his kind is so dominant in this Beast World.

With a sigh, Flugel began, "The Blood Marquis has sent several vampires throughout the Beast World. It seems that the Eternals have begun another onslaught. These vampires will serve as a means to communicate with the vampires."

Amanda clicked her tongue, even without moving a muscle. "That's clearly just a way to keep an eye on all of us. The Eternals may have started moving, but they the marquis only sent these 'reinforcements' when a war is about to happen between us. Does he think we are idiots?"

"It's not big news that the vampires want to enslave all the magical beasts, to use us as a cannon fodder against the Eternals. But without their king here, that's impossible." Flugel replied.

"What did the matriarch decide?" Amanda replied.

"She has asked that you tolerate the vampires in your home for the time being, and teach them something superficially. And in return, she will help you in that matter." Flugel said.

Amanda was about to be happy, however, Flugel continued, "But it seems that one vampire has already died. I don't know how the matriarch will respond to that. You know she is as temperamental as you are..."

She had forgotten that. She was so engrossed as she watched the attack her son had used on that rock, that when she felt her son using spiritual energy, she thought he was just taking out his anger on some magical beast. What should she do with this troublesome puppy of hers.

Thinking aloud, she eventually said, "Maybe I should take the cub to see the matriarch..."

"And you have another unfinished business. I can be tolerant of many things, but your pup attacked me, and that should not be left unpunished!" Flugel said in a serious voice.

She eventually forgot about that too...
