Flugel, for all his long life, believed he followed the path of justice. In the central region of the Beast World, there was a portal. The portal was gigantic, 1 mile (1.61 km) high and 10 miles (16.09 km) wide. The magical beasts of the central region were responsible for guarding this portal for two reasons. The first was to prevent the invasion of the Eternals, and the second, so that one day they could return to their true home.
This underground world was not always the home of the magical beasts. Before, the World of the magical beasts was majestic, with many mountain ranges, verdant forests, and clean, pleasant air. The sun shone high in the sky, and the winged magical beasts could fly in a blue sky with beautiful white clouds. The sea creatures had a huge blue sea as their home, and the land magic beasts had their jungles and plains with plenty of food. Everything changed when the Eternals invaded.
Having lost the war, the magical beasts had to retreat and leave their precious world to these foul creatures, who desecrated their sacred land. It was their duty to protect the new home of their magical beast brothers and sisters, and it was their duty to take back what was taken from them!
And by serving the matriarch, who ruled with a strong fist and motherly love, he thought he would achieve such a thing. But things changed several years ago. The matriarch's lifespan was coming to an end, her life energy in decline. She began to make bad decisions as a leader, which cost many lives. But Flugel didn't care much, because she knew that a leader couldn't always be right. So these decisions began to repeat themselves.
She began to push every magical beast that in the near future might be more powerful than her. He heard rumors that the matriarch had magical beasts with great elemental aptitude assassinated. He saw the one he admired desperately searching for a way to stay alive, when everyone already knew that she had accomplished her mission.
The fuse of this was when Amanda said what her cub told her. The matriarch was smeared. To Amanda and even her cub, that didn't mean much, but to an ancient existence like Flugel, he knew what it meant. The matriarch, someone who had served as a leader for the magical beasts for many years, had sold her soul to the Eternals in exchange for living longer.
Flugel refused to believe this, and went to the matriarch in search of answers. He waited for days outside the matriarch's cave, but still, yes, she did not come out. A magical messenger beast appeared after a few more days, saying that the matriarch was weakened due to age, and would not be able to see Flugel.
Flugel had been the matriarch's right-hand man since he was young. However, for more than a century, the matriarch had refused to see him. Now he knew why
Flugel's 7 foot (2.13 m) tall body moved quickly over this mountain range. When he saw that he was a good distance away, his body began to return to its true form.
Flugel's severe face began to distort and a beak appeared. His short red hair disappeared, to be replaced by red feathers. His body grew, and his already large wings in his humanoid form grew even larger. His body grew to 560 feet (0.17 km) high, resembling a gigantic peacock, which shone with splendor in this dark world.
Flugel's tail rose up and the rainbow-colored feathers on his tail shone, bringing light into this dark world. His long neck turned in one direction, and he made up his mind in his heart. If the magical beasts can no longer return home, his new duty is to make the sun shine on this decaying world of sorrow and bitterness!
He spread his gigantic wings that shone even without light, and flew off at breathtaking speed, tearing through the air and exceeding the speed of sound.

BANG
SWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIISH
Amanda was covered in wounds, and an army of magical beasts were beginning to emerge from the forest. The Eternal stood in front of her, a few miles away, with a lopsided grin that went from ear to ear. He had only a scratch on his forehead, and even his clothes, which were made of magical beast skin, were intact.
One of Amanda's three horns was torn off. The Eternal did this as a way of humiliation, since all magical beasts with horns, are proud. He wanted to devastate any pride Amanda might have. He wanted to see her suffer, fight for her life uselessly.
Eternal desired to see Amanda's anguish and hopelessness! Only then would he feel complete!
Below the sky, San Meili gritted his teeth. He was still in the same place, he didn't move a muscle. The only thing he did was to let Hellen sleep embracing his body, and Jorge fall asleep on his head. They both felt safe and secure with San Meili around, so they let their tiredness take over and fell asleep.
But San Meili himself was not well. His body was almost completely healed, and his spiritual energy was recovering at breakneck speed. He felt bad and useless for seeing his mother hurt herself with nothing he could do. He knew that if he showed up now, letting his anger overwhelm him, it would only be more fuel for the eternal. The eternal one would use him to strike his mother. San Meili felt helpless, for even if by some miracle he managed to use the Roots of Oblivion, he did not know if he would be able to do any damage to this loathsome creature.
For the first time in many years, San Meili found himself incapable and helpless in combat. All he could do was sit and wait until all Amanda's preparations were enough.
ROOOAAARR
The armies of both factions, from the central region and the western region, arrived. They were still miles away, but their roars could already be heard, and the earth trembled with the pounding of claws and hooves on the ground. The already dark skies were overtaken by flying magical beasts, but everyone avoided the battlefield where Amanda and the Eternal were fighting.
San Meili stood between both armies, but did not move a single muscle. Hellen awoke and tried to lead him away, but he refused.
"San Meili, listen to me, staying here will only throw us into the middle of this war! This war is not ours. Do you remember what Lady Amanda told us? Our mission is to survive in the middle of all this mess, and not to get involved in it! Then let's get out of here!" Hellen said as she tried to pull San Meili's big, heavy body away.
San Meili finally stopped looking at Amanda's battle with the eternal, and spoke in a serious tone.
"I have a request for you. Jorge, you can sense Lu Bao Shi. Go quickly to the places where we killed the magic beasts and take all the magic cores you can get. Lu Bao Shi, help George. Hellen, did your father send any reply?" San Meili's voice sounded from the gigantic snake head.
Being stared at by those crimson eyes, Hellen was lost for a moment, but soon answered.
"That device doesn't work like that. The Beast World has some kind of invisible field, which interferes with communication. So we can only send the message and... calm down, what do you want to do with all those magic cores from the dead magical beasts? You're not thinking about using them, are you? This is suicide, San Meili! Your magic core will be overwhelmed by all the weird spiritual energy and..." Before Hellen could finish her reasoning, she was interrupted by San Meili.
"Hellen, I like the way you smell." San Meili said in a soft, serious voice as he looked deep into Hellen's kind, green eyes.
That was not the answer Hellen was expecting. That was definitely not the answer! Hellen's face flushed in the same instant. That gallant snake! He's trying to make her forget about it! As Hellen prepared to speak more, she saw that the armies were almost surrounding them! What Hellen would only learn in the future, is that whenever she is provoked by San Meili, she gets lost in her mind for minutes, and sometimes hours.
"My beautiful vampire, I am not a white steed, but please ride on me and let us bathe in the blood of our enemies." San Meili's voice sounded as he rose from his seat. Hellen had a lot to talk about, but she didn't want to talk about such things right now. With a sigh, she mounted on San Meili's head.
San Meili soon shot toward the matriarch's army. Roots sprouted wildly wherever he passed, and trees grew. His body glowed with a milky green light. When this light touched the roots, they seemed to bow, like subjects bowing to their king.
Bang!
The first impact soon came, and San Meili decapitated a Rank 2 magical beast that was unlucky enough to be on the front lines. San Meili was soon surrounded by several Rank 5 and Rank 6 magical beasts. But suddenly Hellen's eyes glowed with red light, and she used her innate ability.
Eye of Death!
A subconscious fear overwhelmed the magical beasts for a single second, which was enough for San Meili to run away, with Hellen still at his back. San Meili found his next target, a Rank 4 magical beast that looked like the junction of a tiger and a crocodile.
Its tail was like a crocodile's, but covered with hair. Its claws were like those of a tiger. Its body was like a tiger's, but with a tiger's head.
With its dark, thorny roots, it roamed the earth below the ground madly, just waiting for San Meili's command. At his command, the roots soon came out and trapped the Sea Tiger, which was caught off guard.
San Meili soon wrapped his body around the Sea Tiger, using his greatest strength and even strengthening his body with spiritual energy, to crush the Sea Tiger as quickly as possible.
He would raise his Rank and kill that eternal bastard with his bare hands!
