Chapter 50

Stepping onto the 70th floor of the staircase, she looks around and sees several monsters. Witnessing her expression go from an anger to a devilishly vicious smile, the audience shutters. "How can one so young have such a vicious smile. It's almost like she is after blood or something."

Releasing the flames she runs straight up, 'They will probably burn to death. Them burning won't relieve the frustration that those Damn spatial nodes have caused. These ones should be able to withstand some damage right?'

Getting to the first monster that appears to be a giant gazelle made of grass and leaves, she laughs and bounds over it. Landing on the other side she grabs its long tail and slams it into a fireball. Ignoring it she leaps onto a gorilla. Landing onto it she kicks off of it. Flying through the air she twists around and grabs the leg of a monkey made of stone.

Swinging off of the monkey she lands on a bear that has eagle wings. Grabbing its wing she tears it off. As it falls to the ground screaming, blood sprays up onto her. Kicking off of it she slams the wing into a giant snake. Pushed to the left the snake hits the stone monkey, while she flies to the other side. Flipping around she lands on the branch of a treant lion.

As other branches reach towards her, she slashes down with the wing cutting the branch she is standing on off. Riding it down, she plucks a feather off. Throwing the feather behind her, she jumps off the branch. Putting the wing below her she jumps further up and grabs the snake tail of a horse. Pulling the tail closer to her, she pulls the horse towards her.

Chopping down with her other hand she cuts off the tail. With a long cry it turns around towards her. Laughing as more blood sprays onto her, she grabs the arm of an armadillo gorilla hybrid. As it goes to breathe a stream of ice at her. She goes to the underside of its arm.

Swatting at her, she jumps between its two arms. Jumping off of its bicep she uses the snake to go around its neck. Strangling it, she pulls it down from a tree. After tying the snake around its neck she goes to its forehead and jumps. As it lands on the ground a spike pierces through it. With the spike exploding bits of the monster fly everywhere.

Looking around in the rain of blood and monster bits, she sees a flying stone claw sigil. Running towards it she leaps over several giant silver ants. In front of her these silver ants appear once again. Scowling she encases her hand in mana and pierce right through one of them.

With white bug guts falling off her, she grabs the stone sigil and tosses it through the remaining ants. Rolling she gets covered in dirt and grass. Above her flies a lava ball. Jumping up she uses a snake and swings onto the treant. As it goes to hit her, she grabs a vine and laso's away from it. As she does so a flame pillar rises up and explodes on contact.

With ash raining from the sky onto her, the announcer says, "Look at her go. To think she is able to withstand a tide of servant rank three monsters with minimum magic usage. But why isn't she just burning them? She doesn't have to kill them. They won't even drop monster cores."

In the audience several laugh. One of the audience members looks at the announcer and says, "Do you really not know why? Or are you playing dumb?"

Someone else spits at the announcer, "She is clearly frustrated due to the last step of the last step of the steps of misdirection clearly pissed her off. Don't ask such a stupid question. Those who can think will be able to figure it out."

On the other side someone yells, "Damn fool, don't you think at all."

From above the announcer, "We know your job is to announce things going on. But even from a recording one could tell she got annoyed. If you are just gonna ask stupid questions then someone else most take over your job."

Shaking his head the announcer frowns, 'I don't know emotions at all. Maybe I should learn how to read emotions. So such a situation doesn't happen again. I like this job after all.'

'These monsters are too damn weak. I should go climb up to the next step. Clearly I won't be challenged at all till I do so. Interesting that these are only servant rank three. How strong do monsters get?

'Is it strange to be able to fight against such weak monsters with out the use of magic? It shouldn't be. Or is it due to how young I look? Are they not used to seeing such strength? Wait a second."

Climbing up to the next step she sees that there is very few still climbing the stair case. 'Look at that Lillan is still climbing, but who is that one step in front of her. They only made it to the miasma steps.

'Am I making quick progress through these steps then? Are there records tied to these steps? Probably is. Damn sucks that the information of the true heavenly path of ascension is not widely available. I could have learned about the records. But there must be a reason for this to be the case.

'Wait that means Hell's Circle, Celestial Training, and The One Path is The Path of Asura will all have hidden difficulties, that I won't be able to search up the records of ahead of time. Damn it,' she flings over the cliff,

'This means I have to make sure I know there isn't some other way to hide information with magic. Well then I guess after this I should go to learn about different types of magic cores. Could stop me from missing out on the highest earning difficulties.

'Well then I expect to already be chosen by someone. Maybe two. I don't know who though. But I have to break all the records possible. These don't seem much stronger then the previous monsters. Let's go up one more and test the strength of those monsters,' she shakes her head.
