Chapter 9

"Hello, my name is Michael da Vinci and from today on I will teach you two to paint." greeting Michael introduced himself to Rudeus and William.

We are currently in the yard with the newly purchased painting equipment and Michael's appearance is now neat and clean although he still has a long beard.

"Good for today's lesson, you just need to paint the tree over there." Michael said pointing to the tree in front of him.

10 minutes later

"Wow, Rudeus-kun you have a good drawing." Michael praised looking at Rudeus' painting

"Hehe." Rudeus smirked arrogantly

"But this part should be drawn like this...and this part is like this.. ..." said Michael correcting Rudeus' mistake.

"Wow, William-kun, it looks like your drawing is getting better than your first picture." Michael praised seeing my painting.

"Hmph for sure, the first one was just an experiment." I replied proudly of my progress in painting skills.

"But this part is better drawn like this ... to show the shadow effect and look realistic." said Michael who also corrected my painting mistakes.

1 hour later

"Okay, let's end today's class."

Then Rudeus went straight into the house without putting his things back.

"Heyy, don't run away!, Tidy up the things first!" I shouted to Rudeus who had already run away.

"Hahaha, you two are very close, aren't you?" Michael said as he helped tidy up

"Tch, who said." I grumbled hearing that.

"But William-kun, I'm curious, why did you grow your hair long? Aren't you annoyed that you're always mistaken for a girl?" Michael asked in wonder.

"Because with long hair I become prettier." I answered while playing with the ends of my hair.

"Eh?, so you don't mind being called beautiful?"

"Yes"

"Are you GAY?" Michael asked with a surprised face and slowly backed away.

"NO, I'M STILL NORMAL!!" I shouted angrily

"So what?, Do you like long hair?"

"Yeah....." I mumbled while playing with the ends of my hair then smiled and left while tossing my hair.

It's been 5 months since Michael taught painting.

Michael is now sleeping in an inn with the salary he has received since 4 months ago and actually I have also been very good at painting since 3 months ago.

Coincidentally, Michael can also make crafts such as rings and make dolls, I studied that for 3 months and now I'm proficient in those fields too.

During these 5 months after I found out that Michael is very talented in the arts I advised him to sell his craft instead of doing his painting services like last time.

Finally Michael is now able to make quite a lot of money from selling his crafts and many are happy with his work.

I'm currently in my room making hairpins with beautiful floral motifs and suddenly the door opens and the motifs I carved out of were damaged.

"Ah! It's broken!, Who the hell!"I said angrily.

"Will-kun It's serious!!" Michael shouted entering my room breathlessly

"What?, What's wrong?" I asked worriedly and seriously.

"I-I....Falling in Love with Eveline." Michael said seriously and smiled with a face like he had just been enlightened.

"Oh..."

"Okay congrats, is that all? if you have nothing else to do then go there." I said flatly shooing Michael away then continued to make hairpins.

"Help me Will-kun!"

"Why should I? Just ask someone else."

"I-I don't have any friends."

"Okay first how did Michael-sensei meet that Eveline-san?" I asked ignoring the previous conversation.

"It was this morning when I wanted to go to the shop I used to leave to sell my crafts...."

(Michael POV)

Thanks to Will-kun's advice I was able to make more money, but why didn't I ever think about it? to sell my craft huh? let it be, what's important now is that I can eat a lot and sleep in bed.

I walked towards the shop where I used to keep my crafts for sale and entered the shop.

As I entered the shop I saw a beautiful woman with long black hair and black eyes watching one of my crafts.

"Excuse me~, these earrings are very beautiful, how much do they cost?" the woman asked the shopkeeper.

"The price of the earring is 2 silver coins, miss." replied the shopkeeper.

"This Earring is very nice and the price is not too expensive. If I may know I want to know who made this Earring." The woman asked while paying for the earring.

"Who made it? Oh, that's the person." replied the shopkeeper pointing to me who was still near the entrance carrying crafts for sale today.

"Ara, it turns out that you made these earrings, I really like this earring design." said the woman excitedly

"Ara Sorry, I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself, Hello, I'm Eveline Wechsler, I really like this earring design," said the woman gracefully bowing her head. .

"H-hello, I'm Michael da Vinci." I said nervously.

"Is that your own too?" he asked looking at the bag of crafts I was holding.

"Y-yes that's right and also that part of the shelf you saw earlier was all my work." I said a little embarrassed.

"Wow, you are really great at making beautiful works." said Eveline with a smile

Why suddenly my heart started beating fast.

"I've always loved crafts like this and out of all the things I've seen, yours are the most beautiful," Eveline said happily, showing her the earrings by Michael.

"Haha Thank you, if you like you can accept this too." I said smiling and blushing while handing me one of the hair clips I made that matched the design of the earrings.

"Is it okay?"

"That's okay and the hair clip matches the earrings you just bought."

"Thank you very much!"

Eveline said very happy and smiled widely accepting my hair clip.

Seeing Eveline who was very happy and smiling widely made my face flush even more and my heart fluttered.

"O-okay sir, leave it as usual, okay?" I said putting my bag full of crafts and running away.

"A-ah wait...."

Unfortunately I didn't hear that and immediately ran out of the shop

"Hihi~ Cute guy." Eveline muttered smiling looking at the Hairpin and Earrings in her hands

'This... What it is Feeling? Is this Love?' I thought running to William's place.

(MC POV)

"So that's the story Will-kun." Michael said after he finished telling how he fell in love with Eveline-san.

'Wow, this feels like watching a Drama Romance movie' I thought with a smile

"Why are you smiling Will-kun."

"Because I like the romance genre, it's really nice to see it."

"Ah, don't be joking!, help me how can I get close to Eveline-san." Michael snapped

"Don't worry, leave everything to me, A Veteran Romance." I said proudly.

"Wow, are you really a Romance Veteran?" he asked doubtfully.

"Of course. Let's start making plans to get close to Eveline-san." I said excitedly.

"Ohh!" Michael cheered, motivated.

"Okay, your first plan is now to immediately invite her to eat together tomorrow" I ordered Michael.

"Ehh?!, Now?!" Michael shouted in surprise.

"Right. Now, from what I heard Eveline-san is kind and has a positive impression of you so maybe she wants to? If you fail don't be sad, as long as you don't give up you can even win the heart of the coldest girl as long as your feelings are sincere." I explained stylishly stretching out my arms and facing the sky.

"Okay!, I'll try." Michael said and immediately ran to find Eveline.

Michael came back panting and panicking.

"[Impact First Date] is a move that takes advantage of a first date with an element of surprise that will keep you in mind and will make your views change, but it's like a double-edged sword because you can get bad looks for a small mistake." I explained while folding my both arms

"So what should I do Will-kun?" he asked nervously for fear of messing up his first date.

"So Now's Your Glow-Up Time!!, Michael da Vinci."
