Chapter 30: Not an Outlander

Tara POV

While Victor was busy with the Alphas and the new pack arrivals, I had my own business to take care of. There was one person in Forest Bend that I had to deal with now before things got out of hand. It was time for me to take responsibility.

With the arrival of the two other Moon Clans, I was painfully reminded that I didn’t have any clue how to be Luna. I needed to start small with an issue I knew I could handle: Rena.

Confronting Rena was the most unappealing afternoon event I had planned, but this was for Victor’s safety and the safety of the pack.

I found Rena with her posse of popular girls. They were at a coffee shop comparing newly manicured nails and talking about clothes.

“Rena, can we talk?” I asked, going right up to the table.

“Why?” Rena sneered. “We have nothing to talk about.”

“Actually, this is important. It is about the pack,” I said, not willing to back down this time.
