Chapter 113: The Elder Council, Again

Victor’s POV

I was in my study when it happened. The door burst open, and half of the members of the elder council approached me as I sat there behind the large oak desk.

“Gentlemen.” I greeted, eyeing Axel on the other side of the door just as he approached.

There was something in his eyes that told me he didn’t know what this was about, either. I gave him a slight nod, telling him that it was alright, but to stay incase this ended badly.

“Is there something I can help you all with?” I asked as I stood up, standing up and moving to the other side of the desk where I leaned against the front of it.

My arms folded over my chest as I regarded the men in front of me.

“We must talk about Sidus,” one of them pushed, the one closest to me. “This can no longer go on as it has been.”

“It’s been four days,” I noted.
