Yet more fog was still continuously seeping out of the Storm Cathedral, drifting and lingering in patches, akin to a gathering of dark clouds, imperceptibly accumulating in the skies above Plunder, and the area it covered was growing larger, gradually extending over half of the City-State.

Duncan's fingertips still retained a hint of a chilly sensation. He frowned slightly, looking up at the sky above the district, his mind filled with suspicion.

That grey-white fog gave him the feeling... as if some enormous creature had shed its physical form, and its soul was rising within the dimension of reality, unrestrainedly transforming into this shape. It also seemed like something behind the veil of reality was slowly releasing its perception, using the fog as tendrils to "touch" the contours of the real world.

The second feeling was particularly pronounced when he touched that streak of fog.
