Chapter 46: Contrast, Not Too Cute_1

On the southern end of the Anka market, a certain roadside stall

Ya Ya is enthusiastically munching on a piece of roasted meat of unknown origin, in between bites she slurs a muffled thank you to Jadka sitting beside her: "Gulp...Thanks! It's so good...Thank you."

"Thank you very much," Motan, holding a skewer of fried vegetables, smiles back at the old mage: "You've treated us to this meal."

The old man gave a hearty laugh and shook his head: "No problem, no problem. Being adventurers ain't easy these days, I heard about the trouble this half-beast girl caused. Those goblins value gold more than their lives, I bet they didn't give you a break."

"A friend of mine helped with the debt." Motan said honestly: "I am really penniless. As for Ya Ya, I only met her not long ago."
