The Redwood Judge stared at the dice, his heart in his throat for Gu Shen as he counted the seconds, agonizingly slow. He speculated that the dice's current pause was because the young man had exhausted a great deal of spiritual power and needed to stop and rest a bit before making the final sprint.
He must have reached his limit.
