Aimee Escapes

There is no hope; only death awaits. Spade's illusionary world is that powerful. There is no way to resist unless you can break through with pure willpower or some other method. This is the terrifying aspect of top-tier illusionists. After all, seeing through the illusions of a master illusionist is no easy feat.

Even Jotaro, without his Hyper Intuition, might find it challenging to see through Spade's illusions.

As a CPO officer, Aixe's willpower is strong but not at an extreme level. His sensory abilities...

Ha! To resist Spade's illusions using his senses and Haki would require unimaginable power.

Now, Aixe can only be submerged in this illusionary world until he drowns...

Meanwhile, Aimee was already at his limit, fighting against Issho and XANXUS alone. He had deprived XANXUS of his five senses, and though XANXUS stood still, he could still fire a precise shot of his furious flame at the critical moment.

This just defied logic!

Issho had evolved his Observation Haki into the Sixth Sense, "Mind's Eye." But what was XANXUS's trick?

If XANXUS hadn't been too lazy to talk, he would have explained the Pengele Family's Hyper Intuition to this CPO member.

As for Kaido, he was still entangled with the skeletons summoned by Spade's illusions. In this world of ice and fire, no matter how many times he destroyed the skeletons, they would reassemble and continue attacking him. Luckily for Kaido, his vitality was strong enough to endure this prolonged battle; otherwise, he would have fallen long ago.

Seeing the situation unfold, Aimee had no time to daze off. He observed his surroundings and felt a strong urge to retreat.

With the defeat inevitable, continuing to resist would only lead to death.

So the best option now was...

The thirty-sixth stratagem: escape!

With this in mind, Aimee stopped his aggressive attacks and sought an opportunity to flee. He couldn't worry about Kaido and Aixe anymore. Although he could deprive others of their five senses, he couldn't say whether this would work within Spade's illusionary world. After all, he couldn't even locate Spade's position in the illusion.

How could his sensory deprivation rings hit their mark without knowing the opponent's position?

"Boom!"

A muffled sound echoed. After clashing with Issho, Aimee used Moonwalk to leap into the air, pretending to attack from above with the force of his descent.

Sensing Aimee's move, Issho raised his cane sword horizontally, ready to counterattack.

But then, Aimee stepped rapidly in the air, using Moonwalk and Shave consecutively, quickly darting away. He disappeared into the sky in a few flashes, fleeing faster than he had fought, leaving Issho momentarily stunned.

Can he do that?

It's unclear how far Aimee had fled before his sensory deprivation abilities wore off. XANXUS opened his eyes, surveying the area. He didn't need an explanation to understand the current situation. With a displeased grunt, he sat down to rest.

After successive battles with Aixe and Aimee, his stamina was nearly depleted, and he was mentally exhausted. However, his willpower could force his body to continue fighting if the need arose.

"Looks like Spade doesn't need our help. But that monster Kaido—despite being sealed for so long by Jotaro—seems more resilient than ever. How should we deal with him?" Issho wondered, feeling troubled. The battle was essentially over, but handling Kaido was another issue.

With such strong vitality, neither Issho nor XANXUS could kill him. It was still being determined if Spade had a way to do it. If not, they might have to seal him again, maybe with Spade's illusions to put him into a deep sleep or detain him until Jotaro could come and reseal him.

No matter what, Kaido wasn't escaping.

"Is everything settled? Looks like I'm a bit late," said a man in a trench coat with a cold, proud face, walking over and scanning the area. "I was on a nearby island when I received the news and rushed over. I saw someone fleeing but didn't bother. D, haven't you finished off all the enemies yet?"

"Ah, Arnold, the battle is mostly over. One enemy is near death, but Kaido's vitality is incredibly strong. None of us here can kill him. If there's no other way, we might have to wait for Jotaro to come and freeze him again," Issho explained.

Arnold's arrival was a relief, but he was a bit late. His presence would have made the battle easier, and Aimee wouldn't have escaped.

"Strong vitality? So he has great regenerative ability? There's no need to trouble Jotaro. He and Aelia just finished their honeymoon and are on their way back to Seiken Island. No need to make an extra trip. Leave it to me," Arnold said, taking his handcuffs and releasing his box weapon. "Transformation! As long as the damage exceeds his regeneration speed, we can deal with him. His strong vitality just means he'll suffer more before he dies…"

"D, remove the illusion on that guy. I don't want my mood affected during the fight."

Four Arnold figures appeared around, maximizing the cloud attribute's replication ability. Together with his true body, the five Arnolds advanced on Kaido.

Let's see if he can withstand the coming onslaught!
