feeling ease

I was trying my best not to look at window, my hand had tight grip on his and eyes were half closed, we both moving in living room slowly, even when I was trying my best not to look at window my whole attention was there.

"Are you still watching at it? Are you scared ava?" king asked holding my hand, "don't worry whatever it is its outside house and we are safe here inside as long as it's not a ghost." he said mockingly. "What do you mean king?" I said, "I mean you know ghosts has power to go wherever they want to go, if it's a ghost it can move inside our house easily." he said, yaaaa!!!! He made me scare more and out of fear I started hitting his arm softly.

"Hahahahaha I'm sorry, not sorry." he said, "I love to mock you."

"Here I'm worried and you are mocking me." I said still having my gaze at window.

He took my phone and started torch, "let's take a look outside, come with me." he said, "but…"I was about to stop him "no but and no excuse you're coming with me and we are going to just take a look and if we find something wrong we are going to run." he said and dragged me with him, I was totally scared and had no mood and to be honest no courage to go there and take a look but king was not in the mood to listen so I had no choice but to follow him.

I was standing behind him, praying and was ready to run away at any time, he was watching out , "ava, there is no one here." he said looking everywhere.

"Maybe there was someone and now is gone." I said, "Now let's go find candles." I said "I don't want to stand here anymore."

"Let's go." he said while turning back, we were moving inside when we again heard a sound of footstep and this time we both were able to confirm something was really wrong, before I could react he hold my hand tightly, "don't worry we are safe inside," he said.

What if it's a thief and dangerous one my brain was creating thousands of scenarios and I was getting stressed and more stressed, "don't you worry madam ava, when I'm here so there is no need of being afraid of anyone." he said. "There was no need of this dialogue now by the way." I said.

"Yaaaa you just ruined my mood." he said and again started to check outside window, "Ava I think there is someone standing under tree, have a look he said." "No I'm not interested." I said. "Let's just go inside please."

He laughed "Ava, you know who it is?" He said, "it's a same guard who came that day when those girls had little accident, it's our neighbor's guard."

"What?" I was shocked and took a look it was him standing outside and was smoking. "But what is he doing here," I said, I was confused "why?"

"Maybe to smoke, it's a place where no one can see him and so he can smoke without fear of anyone watching." king said, "maybe he is not allowed to smoke and consume any alcohol so he come here."

"What?? How can he do that near my house?" I was raged and was about to go out and scold him hard.

"Calm down ava, it's not affecting us and further more I'm feeling safe that he is there, I don't know why but I felt much easy when I saw him here. I was having whole bad vibe which is gone by now." King said.

"Yes to be honest I'm feeling ease too, I mean he is standing there and smoking with chill, having no fear and I was scared here inside house." is said, "if he can stand outside without any fear we are inside our home."

"Yeah." he said and gave me smile, that was cute.

"So you were scared too?" I said and laughed. "Yeah, I was a little bit and its ok." he said.

He came inside and threw his body on chair he was totally relaxed now, "you want be light candles?" He asked, "no need I'm going to sleep anyway." I slept of sofa and fall asleep without any worry. Seeing him relaxed made me feel relaxed too I was worried for him and now there was no need to be worry anymore.
