It's all thanks to you, boy.

Exiting Their cars, "Btw, why did you lie to Lydia and say we were gonna be there in an hour, We both knew we were two hours away when you called, and now we're an hour away." Minnie Asked after they stopped by a gas station.

They left Radka asleep in her car that Rushil drove instead, while Minnie drove her own car.

"I'm going to Tell you but Keep it a secret from Radka, it's nothing sinister just don't tell her." Rushil said and Minnie nodded.

"Lydia told me that Jin and Nikolai had an unauthorized pool party yesterday because apparently, Andrea showed-up in his shorts to join Jin and Nikolai on their romantic pool day, which made Jin uncomfortable, so he got petty and invited a bunch of our girls to have this party in order to get rid of Andrea, but Andrea wouldn't leave and the party ended-up with a sleepover." Rushil explained.

"I see why Radka would be pissed about the party, but I still don't understand why you lied to Lydia about the time of our arrival." Minnie said as they walked inside the gas station store.

As Minnie went straight to grab herself a water bottle, "It was a good lie, so she would alert the girls and Andrea into leaving and clean the house, before Radka and I come back." Rushil replied while grabbing himself an iced lemon tea can.

"Oh so she knows you're covering for her about the party?"

"Yeah."

"Then why didn't you tell her we're taking two hours to be there?"

"So she wouldn't have to lie to Jin, the truth is that he doesn't know that she told me about the party." Rushil explained as he understandably struggled to make a decision on what snack he wants to get.

Rushil wasn't a big fan of junk-food for health reasons, but he wasn't the type to eat at restaurants and places like that, if he ate anything that wasn't his own cooking, it was the cooking of someone he knew and trusted.

And if he can't get that then he would get some junk-food because it was easy, accessable and most importantly sealed into a package, which meant it was probably safe for his consumption.

"Ahhh, I see!...Lydia is trying to have a Good relationship with Jin especially now that he's sorta her boss, so I get why lying to him would be bad.

Btw, I thought you hated Junk-food." Minnie said before deciding she wanted something to eat too, and grabbed the first bag of chips that caught her eye, it was chicken flavored.

"I do...but I'm hungry right now, and I can't wait until we make it home, plus I don't feel like cooking at all today." He replied, "We passes several restaurants and coffee shops...why didn't you stop at any of them?" She asked.

"I don't eat outside the house."

"Why?"

"It's a trauma response." Rushil said before sighing as he picked a bag of Honey-roasted Peanuts.

Minnie gave him a curious but judgemental look, "Honey-roasted Peanuts? Really my guy?" She said.

"What?! They're healthy and tasty! Better than Whatever shit that is that you picked!" Rushil replied giving her a much more judgmental look.

"Whatever!... shouldn't we get anything for Radka?"

"Oh I'm going to get her something that's not from a gas station, in her mental state she needs to eat one thing and that's a big fat chocolate cake."

"But didn't you say you weren't in the mood to cook? Unless you're buying that cake, which we both know is not a good idea because Radka doesn't like to eat cake unless it's your cake." Minnie said but then felt embarrassed because her words at the end sounded a bit, weird.

"Your cake...as in your chocolate cake, the one that you make, not your ass or whatever." She added making Rushil smirk teasingly.

"How did you know she eats my Ass?" He joked unexpectedly in a loud voice, making everyone at the store stop and Stare at him.

Feeling embarrassed himself, "It was just a joke, why are they starting like that!" He whispered to a chuckling Minnie.

"Joke or not, everyone here just pictured you face down, Ass up." She said holding back her laughter.

"You started it and you were embarrassed a minute ago! But now you're making fun of me?" Rushil said faking an angry tone, although in reality he was having fun, it was surprising for him because he was joking with Minnie, the girl which he fought his wife about.

Sighing, "You know what, I'm gonna make Jin bake the cake.

When I'm making it home, I'll be taking care of Radka, so even if I wanna cook I wouldn't be able to juggle her and the kitchen." Rushil said as he walked to the cashier.

"I'm seriously worried about you, in all my 7 years with you guys, you never bailed on kitchen duty." Minnie replied while paying for her stuff next.

"It's just that cooking usually cheers me up, but i don't feel like I deserve it now...I lied for years to Radka and the girls...about Jenny's death.

I feel ashamed of myself, I feel like I failed everyone in my life." Rushil replied.

As they left the store and walked towards their cars, "You didn't fail anyone Rushil, you did your best...and in my opinion, Radka is the one at fault here.

I know I'm supposed to be her favorite, and I'm supposed to stand by her side, but she chose to drink that night, she chose to attack Jenny to get another drink...and although you chose to pay for a crime you didn't commit, your motives were pure love and care for a Person that you chose to spend the rest of your life with.

So you didn't fail her, As far as I'm concerned, she has failed you." Minnie said before she climbed into her car.

She left a stunned Rushil standing outside of his vehicle, staring at her and thinking about what she just said while she cracked her water bottle open.

...An hour later...

"I think it's about time I leave." Cyrus said getting-up from the kitchen chair he sat on, "Yeah..." Jin replied unhappy.

"What's wrong?" Lydia asked, "This person, the one who told you about Flint's theory...was it Rudy?" Jin asked but he was confused when Cyrus didn't react at all, instead he flatout lied and said, "Nope."

"You're lying, there's no one else who would know this much, and share it with you specifically, unless it was Rudy." Jin said angrily.

"Does it matter if it was Rudy?" Cyrus asked, "Of course it does, you said the person met-up with Flint in a bar and ended-up hearing about this murder theory.

I knew Flint better than you, he and Rudy were best friends, and they drank together whenever they can.

And after years of no communication, Flint would've at least tried once to get Rudy to talk to him, and I know Rudy has been having a hard time making friends for the past 7 years which means that there's a great chance, he was the person at the bar who Flint spoke to.

It would make sense since they knew each other, but if that's true then that means Rudy lied during the dinner party about not drinking." Jin said.

Smiling, "Alright you got me, it was Rudy...I just lied to keep him anonymous because he knew that I had to tell others about this theory eventually." Cyrus replied.

"Let me guess...Rudy broke down in tears when he told you because he was ashamed that he was drinking behind his lover's back, and begged you not to mention his name if you were to tell anyone else so Blake wouldn't know he was drinking again." Jin said.

"He only drank that one time with Flint, and yeah he was crying...honestly I felt bad for him, after all I did try to break him and Blake up, so I thought I should make things right and keep his name a secret, just in case word got out." Cyrus replied.

"It's sweet of you to try and make amends, but you shouldn't have lied, you can trust me and Jin, we won't tell anyone about Rudy being your source of information.

Right Jin?" Lydia spoke-up.

Nodding, Jin's features softened, "She's right, you should've been honest, at least with her and me since it's only us three in This matter.

I wouldn't do anything to sabotage Rudy and Blake's relationship, that relationship was the best thing that happened to Rudy and just like you said it was only one time and no harm was done.

Rudy probably didn't wanna drink and Flint just pressured him." Jin replied.

"Aside from the fact that you're really smart Jin, you're also very kind...

I agree that relationship is the best thing that happened to Rudy and Blake too, just like your relationship with Nikolai is...which is why I'm reminding you to keep quiet about what we talked about, until it's safe to tell Nikolai." Cyrus said.

Suddenly, the Doorbell began ringing, "Seems like I overstayed, your in-laws are already here." Cyrus said jokingly.

"You can use the back door if you don't want to be seen." Lydia suggested.

"Sure." Cyrus nodded at her with a smile while Jin went to open the front door.

And as Cyrus headed for the back door with Lydia's guidance, "Cyrus... about yesterday." She said.

"I don't regret it." Cyrus replied suddenly.

"Regret what?" She asked, "The kiss...I don't regret it." He answered.

Blushing, "I know you said that I shouldn't misunderstand the kiss, but it got me thinking...I was wrong for stalking you, you're aware of my feelings now, but back then I was afraid that if I confessed, you'd reject me." She said.

Standing at the door, "And you're not afraid now?" He asked.

"I know you like Ha-yoon...I Know our kiss was just a thank-you but..."

"You know, it got me thinking too, the kiss I mean."

"Thinking about what?" Lydia asked, "let's face the music, Ha-yoon doesn't and will never love me back, Julian is dead...and I suck as a boyfriend." Cyrus said.

"You made Julian happy, I don't think you suck as a boyfriend."

"See? You're the only one thinking that...my own dad doesn't believe in me when it comes to the love department."

"What are you trying to say Cyrus?"

While looking at her, "Lydia, will you be my girlfriend?" Cyrus asked.

Stunned, Lydia's eyes went wide open and her jaw dropped.

"That's not exactly the reaction I anticipated." Cyrus said worried he might've, 'Broke her'.

"Umm, Lydia?" He waved a hand in front of her face and she blinked.

"Okay, I'm gonna give you some time to think." Cyrus said, he gave her a kiss on her cheek and quickly left.

...Meanwhile...

When Jin opened the door, he didn't even get the time to react to seeing Minnie standing in front of him before Radka who has already woken-up, pushed him aside without a warning and walked into the house not saying a word.

Surprised and worried, "What happened?" He asked.

"We had an argument, I'm going to check on her, you two go catch-up." Rushil's said walking inside as well.

"Girl...you're alive." Jin said turning to Minnie who smiled, "It's all thanks to you, boy." She replied.

"So you were really in danger?"

"Yeah! Your Spidey-senses were not tingling for nothing."

"What happened?" He asked, "Well first of all, can I come inside, because if you haven't noticed I'm a vampire and I can't go inside the house unless I'm invited." Minnie joked making Jin laugh.

"Haha! You liar, if you're a vampire, the sun that you're standing under, would've evaporated you already." He replied while letting her into the house.
