As she drove her car, Are you still mad at me?" Radka asked, Rushil was in the passenger seat just staring from the window.
"Rushil?" She called his name again when he didn't respond, she knew he was mad she just wanted him to admit it.
But did some reason Rushil didn't respond and he kept on ignoring her.
Sighing, "Do you like her that much?" She asked.
Still no answer, "Fine...I promise you, that I will be as gentle as possible while talking with Soo-Min, in fact, you can have my gun, just hold on to it so you'd be sure I won't try to kill her... although I can still just use my hands but I'll try not to." Radka said before she took her gun and placed it in Rushil's lap.
Slowly, Rushil turned to look at the gun, "Radka, do you remember the first time you killled someone?" He suddenly asked.
Surprised, she nodded, "Yeah...how can I forget, I killed my own brother...Georgi...didn't we say we shouldn't talk about him anymore?" Radka said, her face twisted into a mixture of anger and sadness at the memory now playing in her head.
"I just can't help but to think...The first time you killed someone, he was your family...but you did it to protect me..."Rushil replied.
"And I don't regret it, It was Georgi's fault for thinking he's got the right to try and kill you and for what reason?! Because you're not white like me? Hope he's been rotting in hell all this years?" Radka replied, clenching her fists around the steering wheel.
"Do you think that if what happened with your brother didn't happen...would your father have eventually changed his mind about us... maybe come to accept us?" Rushil asked.
"When my father discovered I was dating you, he threatened to disown me for the first time because I said I wanna marry you Rushil, we did nothing wrong but in his messed up eyes, we sinned for wanting to mix our races.
And on top of that, that fuck face Georgi had to get himself killed! he was always a shitty misogynistic and racist bastard, he was the one who bullied me the most out of my brothers but suddenly he was all protective and can't let his little white sister marry a brown man!
For fucks sake, that day he could've let you and I leave in peace but he couldn't, if I didn't pull the trigger on Georgi, he would've definitely killed you and I know my father would've helped cover-up the murder and properly throw me in some mental hospital until he force marry me to one of his white friends, so I hope that motherfucker brother of mine is as deep as it gets in hellfire where he rightfully belongs! And I can't wait for my father to follow him! That bastard still clinging to life after everything he did...
To think that pathetic old racist asshole is still alive till today, just pisses me off!" Radka said punching the wheel, then she turned to Rushil, "Also Why the hell are you bringing Those bastards up right now anyways?!" She asked.
"I don't want you and Nikolai to have the same fallout you had with your father, Radka."
"The same Fallout?! You call that the same fallout?! Rushil Did you expect me to keep a relationship with my own father who literally kicked me out for loving a man of a different race?! And it's nothing like what's going on between me and Niko?!
My father was and probably still is a racist, Not to mention I killed his favorite son?! Even if I wanted to, my father would've never welcomed me home?!"
"Don't get angry at me Radka, What I meant is that you didn't deserve to be disowned, and I know that your father would've eventually opened his eyes to the Truth about our relationship hadn't Georgi died the way he did!"
"Oh please Rushil?! My father could never be understanding, he was also a homophobic fart?! When he realized I was bisexual before you and I got together, he tried to set me up on a date with one of his friend's sons?!"
"Whatever you say but let's be for real now, you're a parent too Radka, you have to be better than your father, But you're starting to act a little like him.
I mean your father loved the shit out of you even when he discovered you're bisexual, he didn't give up on you until what happened with Georgi and him discovering our relationship...Radka, he disowned you for reasons out of your control and you hate him to death for that, I am 100 percent on your side about that...
And I know you fake-disowned Nikolai to protect him, but in Nikolai's mind what happened is real, just as real as what happened to you back then with your father.
Rad, do you really want Niko to end-up hating you the same way you hate your own father?" Rushil asked.
Hearing his words, Radka took in a deep breath, "Obviously...I don't." She replied.
"Then why don't we stop this charade, Jin doesn't have to protect Nikolai alone, we gave birth to him, we'll fight for him till we're all dead.
It's time we'll do it right, So let's go right now to his house, we'll get a cake or something on our way and you'll apologize to him, you'll also apologize to Jin for trying to put him in the crossfire.
Hopefully, Nikolai would back off from his decision to leave town and things can get back to normal a little." Rushil suggested.
"What about Soo-Min?! She should be our priority right now?!" Radka said.
Pissed, "No Radka?! Our son is our priority!" Rushil replied.
"But we're almost at Ha-yoon's place..." Radka said.
Sighing, "Fuckin...hell... alright listen, how about this." Rushil said taking the gun in his lap, he quickly hid it in the glove compartment and turned back to Radka, "It's really dangerous to be questioning a woman like Soo-Min about the death threats and her crime lady sister, but considering that she's currently a guest at Ha-yoon's place, I bet she won't try to attack any of us or escape if we confront her.
So let's make a deal, since I expect Soo-Min to behave well, I'll let you go to her first and have a talk as long as you promise to behave as well, make sure you have a quiet private talk with her, without trying to murder her or raise the others suspicion, because we can't take her with us or else the others get involved.
And Once we're done talking with her, we'll send a message to our girls to watch over her so that even if she got ballsy and decided to escape afterwa, we'd know about it.
But once your conversation is over, we'll hurry the fuck up to Nikolai's place and you'll have a nice and quiet talk with him too, is that alright by you?" Rushil asked.
Radka thought carefully for a moment, she could see Ha-yoon's place now, "Fine, but on one condition, if she did try to attack me or escape, can I beat her up?" She asked.
Rushil nearly rolled his eyes, "Yeah whatever...I mean self-defense is allowed..." He replied.
Satisfied, Radka nodded but then she took notice of something, "What the fuck."
"What's wrong Rad?"
""Isn't that Nikolai's car?"
"Huh?!" Rushil turned to look where his wife is looking and sure enough, the car was there.
"Shit you right?!"
"Oh hell no...Now how am I supposed to talk to that bitch with Jin and Nikolai around?!" Radka whined.
"Language dear..." Rushil said.
"Language is the least of our concerns, we can't go in now."
"Call Ha-yoon, ask her what's going on?"
Sighing in annoyance, Radka pulled her cellphone and quickly called Ha-yoon's number.
But to her surprise, it went straight to voicemail, "Hi, this is Ha-yoon, if you can't reach me, it's probably because I don't want you to, so Leave me alone!"
"How unprofessional, why the hell isn't she responding?" Radka asked.
"Maybe she's out?...but then again car is here too, maybe she's walking somewhere?" Rushil said.
"That bitch is probably asleep or something..."
"Radka stop calling everyone a bitch."
"I'll stop when they stop acting like bitches."
"I hate when you do this."
"I hate when you start lecturing me as if you don't know that's not gonna work."
"Okay, you know what?!" Rushil said, he unlocked his door and stepped outside.
"What are you doing?!" Radka asked.
"I'm going into that house and I'm going to tell Nikolai that you're outside and that you want to talk to with him!" Rushil replied.
"No! If you do that I swear I'm gonna drive off And leave your ass here!" She said angrily.
"I dare you to do so! I'll serve you those divorce paper for tomorrow's breakfast!" He replied.
"You're not being serious Rushil?!"
"Fuck around and find out Radka!"
"I don't want Nikolai to think I was stalking him?!"
"Well it's too late for that! Get out of that car and come with me to apologize to your son, or I'll bring him out myself!"
"AUAGHAHAHH!" Radka grunted in frustration, "Fine! Dammit!" She cursed as she got of the car and unconfidently followed Rushil to Ha-yoon's front door.
On the other side, Soo-Min had joined the group of boys in the living room with more fresh tea and cookies.
"Thanks for the treats Noona." Ha-joon said taking two cookies, he kept one for himself and gave the other to Nam-gil who was now enjoying a conversation with Jin.
"So what did you do to stop smoking?" Nam-gil asked, "Sugarless Chewing gum, I just chew a buttload of chewing gum whenever I get the urge to smoke, sometimes hard candy too, but luckily lately I've felt that urge less and less.
It has been a long while since I smoked." Jin replied.
"Does chewing gum really work? I thought it was myth." Ha-joon questioned, "Are you planning to quit too?" Cyrus asked.
Nervous, "Yeah...I guess I don't really want cancer..." Ha-joon replied.
His words, made Soo-Min feel sad, "Poor Ha-yoon...I feel bad for her, how can you comfort someone in her situation?" Soo-Min asked.
"God knows...I don't even know how to comfort my own dad." Cyrus replied.
"Maybe...you should cheer her up instead.
If she's dying and she's losing her will to live, wouldn't restoring that will be the best thing to do?" Nam-gil said.
"Jin, Your dad has a point... unfortunately I can't think of anything that would uplift Ha-yoon's spirit right now.
You knew Ha-yoon before me, can you think of anything that would give her the courage to keep going?" Cyrus replied asking.
"So far music the only thing that seems to be of interest to her, if she doesn't at least want to live for the sake of music, I can't think of anything else." Jin replied, "Well actually there's something else..."Women and Music... Ha-yoon's biggest pleasures in life." He added.
Immediately, Cyrus's eyes lit-up, he turned to Soo-Min who was confused by his sudden stare when all of the sudden, the doorbell began ringing, "Umm...you guys are expecting more guests?" Nam-gil asked.
"I don't think so...I'll go check." Soo-Min said but Jin stopped her, "I'll go, just in case it's something dangerous."
"I can handle myself." Soo-Min said.
"I know." Jin instantly replied, the seriousness in his voice surprised Soo-Min, what did he mean by that?
"Okay..." She replied, and Jin went to the front door to check.
Through the peeping hole, he could see Radka and Rushil and he was shocked.
"Did they follow us here?" He questioned before he quickly opened the door.
"Jin!...hey!" Rushil greeted him with a nervous smile.
