Chapter 33 Hermes' curse

Hermes sat on his bed still feeling discomfort in his gums. He already knew what it was all about and he was already used to it. The fact that he was already used to it and also the fact that he was to continue existing with the condition pained him the more but what more could he do if not to allow his fangs to come out and then bite himself to stop the itching.

To him, even though it was a natural condition that he was born in, he saw it as a curse. He had already lived with the condition for over a thousand years but each time it happened, it seemed to him as if he was trying to blend with the process all over again.
