Slowly, Margaret released her hand from Amanda's mouth and in fear, Amanda stood up from the bed and followed the queen outside.

Still, Mira followed. She was yet to understand what was going on. She had so many questions to ask but she didn't think of a reason why her mother was holding a knife and leading a maiden away. When the duo was inside, Mira could sense the fear in Amanda's eye. Maybe she had offended her mother and her mother was trying to discipline her.
