Chapter 1 ( Part 4 )

T.K only started killing people in his eleventh to twelfth year in prison. There is such a thing called prison madness. It affects everyone. T.K was mad from the beginning. But he proved he could become a worse demon. Who knows what makes a person so strong? He would pull people's limbs off with bare hands. He would crush each of their bones to powder with his legs. He would break their skulls like a coconut and throw their brains into the frying pan.

Suffice to say, T.K spent a lot of time in the kitchen.

Until then, the World Prison would transfer him to a different section each week. Now it began to transfer him every two days and then, every day. The frequency of transfer ended when it reached once every twelve hours. But no one knew whose benefit it was for. T.K was transferred to the woman's prison every night!

The woman's prison was separated from the men's with a virgin harbour. T.K would probably never reach the woman's prison and be subjected to horrifying visions in the ultradimensional space for those twelve hours. However, the possibility of him reaching the woman's prison made all the inmates green.

It started a bad trend of people trying to vie for T.K's reputation in the A.I. of the prison system. So T.K set them right. A new round had begun.

The big prison bosses were scared his violence will reach them. They worked hard. One one side, to assassinate T.K and the other side, to make the prison a blooming place that does not agitate T.K.

If there is any proper human interaction T.K had throughout his years in prison, it is when he helped prisoners build their appeals in court. In 20 years, he read innumerable law books of every country in the world. Everyone knew T.K could finish a big fat law book in just a few hours. He could also read any language in the world. Perhaps he was just playing with the book?

There is a particular aura about T.K that the fiends of the World Prison do not understand. Even though they see he rarely harms the guards and doesn't harm little things like animals and plants; even though he has a spartan way of living just like an ordinary prisoner when he is the big boss of the World Prison who can have anything he wants in his cell; even though he big bosses and smart criminals observe his movements day in and day out, they cannot see and cannot know.

T.K doesn't harm the righteous ones.

The fear the immoral one sees when they merely glance at him is not present in the righteous ones. And those who do not fear will naturally approach him. Of course, a certain desperation and will to die are also needed in the right measure to approach him.

This is because, as with all prison systems, there are people in the World Prison who are innocent. After exhausting all measures, when all hope is gone in life, they discover there is light beyond the west where the sun had drowned. That is the Hell King, Aniket T.K.

Those who dare to approach him had never gone back barehanded. And they have learned, he truly can read all the languages in the world.

Of course, this doesn't make them worship him or anything. Just an immediate and overwhelming relief of just being alive. Were there people in the prison who wanted to commit suicide? Just spend an hour with the Hell King and you will know what death is. Hold your heart and weep for being still alive.

Thinking of meeting the eyes of the horrifying man, Lan still had the jitters and the shivers.

To think he was a harmless timekeeper…

Or where will he be harmless? He must be a great serial killer or a psycho among timekeepers. Definitely, he was not human.

One should not think the reign of T.K ended when the man left the prison. For days and months after he left, prisoners were assailed by nightmares. There was a different madness in the World Prison and it required the help of psychiatrists and semiotic specialists in psychology.

It would seem there is a very similar dream most prisoners were going through each day. The specifics were also very clear. They have all crossed a bloody river full of flesh, bones and entrails of dead people. They have been taken to the chambers of the Hell King. They have been subjected to the favourite and horrible tortures of Aniket T.K.

The dream differed for everyone here. Everyone underwent a different torture. Some, more horrible than others. One more thing that was different was, some saw the Hell King as the same person with a beautiful moustache and excellent features in the yard. Others saw him as Yama or Lucifer or some other death god described in the books. Most of these prisoners were not religious. Especially, the death culture and 'hell' culture has long faded from people's memories.

The psychologists found it intriguing they will fixate on these images. So they began to study this man called T.K. His activities, his ideals and his life. Just like learning from a great guru or a teacher.

The man in question always arrived on the yard in time, his martial arts were beyond excellent. He practiced them for a long time without his shirt. The Dignified Ream has radiation, but little heat. All prisoners are dressed thickly, and only a little thinner when exercising. Nobody is naked.

This is a strong visual cue. I am stronger than you.

It wasn't a shock and awe moment that happened once or twice. It was a continuous, rigorous and disciplined action that has nothing to do with showmanship. It was the plain, naked truth. I am stronger than all of you.

There are seven sections in the prison and the Hell King spent a day of the week in each one of them. There are no weapons in the prison, but a person in his position can still fashion a whip. Since materials cannot be brought from one section to another, he kept a whip in each yard. The whip stayed in the yard in a central place. No one ever touched it.

From a small horsewhip to a long bullwhip to a whip as long as half the yard.
