CHAPTER 34: FALSE PREGNANCY

Hunter came back from his meeting and when he entered the room, Ava sat on the corner of the bed with a pregnancy stick in her hands.

"What's this?" He asked upon seeing the stick in her hands.

"Nothing!" She said and stood up and threw it in the dustbin.

Hunter walked to the dustbin and picked the pregnancy stick out. He looked at it and saw that it was negative.

"What's going on?" He asked turning to look at her.

"I was feeling a bit dizzy, so I took it." She replied.

"I thought I was pregnant, but as you can see, I am not." She said feeling annoyed.

Ever since Ariana left Hunter had always been in the bad mood, he wouldn't touch her anymore. Whenever she tried to initiate it, he would give an excuse of being tired and just brush her off.

"Why are you treating me like this Hunter?" She asked when she saw him turning to leave.

"Ava, I don't have time for this." He spoke sighing.
