He opened the file and read it. "Kazumi Mishima…"

"Sheesh, he slapped the s*** out of you Nina…." Zoya covers her mouth with one hand, resisting her best not to laugh out loud after hearing her subordinate side of the story.
"Stop laughing!" Nina exclaimed in a mix of the emotion of anger and embarrassment, even averting her eyes from her. However, she was not to blame as this happened for the first time in her lifetime that someone slapped her like this.
"HAA HAHA. *Ahem Ok." With a fake cough, Zoya stopped joking and fooling around; getting a more serious, stern expression that suits her.
Soon the fun and joking atmosphere around them died down, turning tense and heavy due to the graveness of the matter.
Other special officers present there were on alert like Juri, Anna, and Tifa because their mission failed plus they broke small but grave laws.
"So the mission failed just because you girls wanted to prove something to me…." Zoya said while thoughtful thinking about it then glared at them coldly in the eyes.
They bow down on one knee in fear and respect, not giving even an excuse, as they know their punishment will get even more served because of that.
*Tringg Tringgg
"Huh? Kazumi?" Zoya was about to give them a fitting disciplining punishment, but a call interrupted her. She was about to hang it but gave a glance at who called her at this time.
Reorganizing the caller's name, she picked it up. "Yes, it is me. Is it? Ok, I will send help quickly." Zoya tried to keep the call as short as possible, and firmly replied, listening to her request.
*Sigh "For now you are dismissed, but worry not you'll meet me at HQ at night where your fate will be decided." She told them and left quietly. She saw Cindy coming toward her with a small device in her hand.
"Cindy reporting Ma'am!" Cindy said giving a frank salute and passing the small device to her and Zoya took it without asking anything, observing the device.
"The mission was a success, Ma'am." Cindy notified Zoya and continued to brief her about everything from what happened in the beginning to the end of how he saved them.

'I didn't know he was this smart…. To plan 10 steps ahead of them with this little information! He is indeed best suited to be the next boss.' Zoya thought in her mind with astonishment but was cool outside.
'On the other hand, these girls are getting out of hand doing anything just to impress me…. I have to plan something very embarrassing for them and rewarding for Micheal.' She internally said with a menacing smile.

"I didn't know he could grasp that Sin and Virtue power that quick without proper training….. And you say he used a black sword." Zoya said calmly, digesting what Cindy was telling.
"You know where he is?" She asked out of curiosity and looked around, however, he was not present there at all.
"Yes, he said he wanted to be alone for a while in the car. I think he was trying to understand those abilities…" Cindy told Zoya and suggested.
"Fine, I will meet him later then, but for now, I think I will assign both of you a mini-rescue mission."

"Interesting, I have to admit Syndicate is a hell out of an organization for sure," Micheal commented as he was impressed with the syndicate information network.
He read the document which clearly had every single detail about her from her clan data to her personal life.
'She works for the syndicate and has been spying on the Mishima clan for many years undercover.' He calmly thought while closing the file, remembering the details.

'I never saw Boss Zoya so absorbed and so calculative thinking about a mission….' Cindy recalled her memory mainly because Zoya was very attentive, listening to her detailed summary.
Zoya has never been interested in hearing the details, as it's either you fail the mission and face consequences or it's a success.
'Maybe it's because Micheal was involved. She proclaimed that he will be her successor, which is quite a claim….'
'Though I have to agree that he is uniquely gifted in the brain department and has the power to grasp those abilities without training in such a short amount of time.'

"Cindy, have you told Zoya about the mission?" He inquired about her in an informal tone and addressed Zoya with her name without adding Boss.
Cindy raised her eyebrows but ignored his attitude. "Yes, she had quite an expression, if you asked me."
Just like that, Micheal started small talk with Cindy as he had nothing else to do for now. They chatted for a while about Zoya and other executives, however, their talk was interrupted by someone.
*BaMM
"What the F***!" Cindy shouted as something or someone fell on the car hood.
"What!" Micheal immediately activated [Patience: Time rendering] to check out quickly what struck the car.
They were currently in a hilly area and their roads were not too broad, barely enough for vehicles to cross the road at the same time.
Opening the left door and hanging out, he saw a woman wearing a white dress and had dark skin was about to fall off the mountain into the deep steep forest after being hit by them.
She was not too far away, just a few meters away from them.
