Tea ceremony.

Many women from richer families , daughters of officials and relatives of the royals were invited to the tea ceremony.

A tea ceremony is an every year event where noble women were invited to the palace to perform the traditional dances they were also welcomed to spotlight their talents and celebrating on different performances.

Every ladies invited was looking fabulous and dressed modestly. The whole palace was covered by beautiful gowns and echoing laughter of the women. It was a women party so the men stepped aside.

Men were not allowed to get closer to the ballroom since , it was a custom.

On the other hand, maidens were the ones who will suffer today since noble women always loves to be taken care of everything. Putting make up on them , preparing their beautiful dresses , doing them some errands and making sure that they stayed closer to them while showering them every time with beautiful compliments on how they looked and to whatever something they put into the show.

Great smelled tea were served to them along with some sweets. The queen was also present to the ball , the invited guests bowed at her after taking their glance on her.

Princess Adrianne was getting ready for the ball. She wore her cupid purple flowered dress with a silver flowered crown along with dazzling silver jewerly. Her personal maid was combing her hair gracefully to add one little touch to her exquisiteness. Her green eyes mesmerized in excitement.

She was getting restless after she planned very well to teach lady Chalamet a lesson.

She entered the ballroom walking gracefully with confidence that exceeds everyone in the hall. Her boldness and unshaken attitude towards the people increased her respect to her title. As a princess she was told always to act like a lady , walk like a lady and talk like a lady. she was taught manners and other things that a grown up lady should know.

She curtsied to her mother and went to sit to her spot. Her eyes darted to every corner of the room looking for lady Chalamet.

And when she spotted her , she approached them and greeted her along with her mother before she went to sit directly at her seat.

Her eyes batted to the peculiar guests and looked at the particular traditional dances on the floor. The time went by and she got bored , she was not used on attending these kind of balls but she came since she was invited by the princess who seemed to be less bothered by her presence.

As she didn't know , laughter and giggles of women kept resounding the whole castle as the music playing along when princess Adrianne observed her from one corner of her eyes , many thoughts running through her head. She was thinking on what to do with her.

Several ladies from noble families came and greeted her mother , queen melissa who entertained them with that pulled smile that she always befell on them just only because of the huge respect they fanned her with and the gifts that they brought along with them .

Adrianne ignored them unconsciously because her mind at the moment was occupied with Marianne.

" Lord Xavier is very close to the queen . what's behind their connection" Asa tensed up to his own question when he asked cosmos , they were walking by at one of the corridors of the barracks when they came to a stop. It was not a surprise to him, lord Xavier had been befriending queen melissa for years now but he was very young back then and didn't pay attention to them.

Cosmos agreed with him but he didn't know where did that idea came from his mind and he was surprised to see that he noticed there might be something going on between them.

"I wish I knew , your highness " he said.

"Then quickly help me find about them "

" I will , your highness "

Before they continued on their paces , someone interfered with their conversation.

It was general Albert muzier who bowed gracefully to the prince before he greeted cosmos who in return greeted him with great honor showed in his eyes.

"I think you are getting together quite well " prince commented when he saw their faces holding respects towards each other.

Asa knows that Albert was a tutor of cosmos and cosmos learned many things from him.

He was like a master to him.

Looking at them now he noticed the similarities. Confidence and bravery were the things portrayed in their eyes and stayed there forever.

Most true to their demeanour, they were both warriors who spent most of their lives protecting the royal family.

Now he was helping with the training of the soldiers under the king's order.

What a change of his father's mind, he allowed him to reform the royal army while he was the one who removed the best soldiers from the palace at the first place.

"Your highness " he called , general's voice ringed through the walls of the barracks.

"Yes?" he replied to him.

"His majesty wants to inform you about lord Xavier "

He turned his head looking at him " I'm listening" he said directing all of his attention towards him.

"Be wary of him". he warned.

Before he could ask him why, general Albert bowed his head to the prince and instantly walked away.

Wasn't he allowed to ask him even a single question? what a mysterious guy he was !

Cosmos wanted to call after him but he stopped him in the middle , there was no need of doing that because he sensed that he did only delivered what he was told to.

His father was secretive and a very mysterious man the same as general Albert muzier was.

They both wanted him to figure it out on his own.

The king wanted prince Asa to be careful with lord Xavier, but why ?!. Is his father suspecting lord Xavier behind his back or knew something about lord Xavier even before and wanted to warn him about it.

As he couldn't let his mind concentrate on training, he hardly thought about what is that prime minister Xavier was planning to do.

Judging from his absence at the court , there might be something going on that he had already suspected earlier.

" Bring lady chalamet to the palace "he ordered.

" She is already here , your highness " he frowned his eyebrows, surprised he didn't call for her.

" She is attending the tea ceremony " cosmos added his face twisted in annoyance as he mentioned about it.

He hated this stupid something ceremony.

Asa observed his reaction and a little smile painted on his face . He shrugged , none the less he wanted to meet lady chalamet so that he can talk to her about her father.

When cosmos seemed to hesitate for a moment , he chuckled understanding his concern.

He patted him on the shoulder and urged him to follow him . He was the prince and no one could stop him if he decided to approach the ballroom where the tea ceremony was taking place.
