She displayed a smile. "That's hardly the imposing representation of masculinity that I had in mind," the speaker said.

He chuckled, the black sparkle in his eyes spreading over his face. "Sylvia, you are wonderful."

"Sylvia? I had the impression that I was the secretary."

"The arrangement was for four hours, and that's over now," he said as he jerked his head in the direction of a clock that was hanging on the wall.

"Oh." She retreated, somewhat disheartened, but he did not let go of her even as she struggled to break free from his hug.

"Hold on, I wasn't implying that I don't want this to go on any further. I simply didn't want to take advantage."

She smiled broadly with her lips, and then she planted a passionate kiss on his cheek.
