Chapter 1: Island Day!

Ten years have now passed since the disaster in Durham, and in that time the Dragonblade family and the Tokyoheim family have gotten to know the citizens. The people of Shuratown and the country of Guerrin have come to know the two families fairly well at this point. Despite being from Sylverant, the people of Guerrin have come to accept the two neighboring families as their own fellow citizens of the small country. Since the Dragonblade's and the Tokyoheim's are neighbors and good friends, it's become quite common for their kids to be seen together. This particular day was no different, the 3 Dragonblade children and the twins from the Tokyoheim family were just hanging out together. Well, except for one of the Dragonblade kids. And that particular individual is currently still sleeping. It's a Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Dragonblade have already stepped out of the house for work. Although it's just a typical Friday morning for everyone else, it is a very special morning for someone. The one who is sleeping currently is Maxwell Dragonblade, the eldest of his siblings.

He had been sleeping soundly, until he had a very strange dream. He deserved sleep too. Max had been up into the early hours of the morning fixing his best friend's hydro bike, or hover bike as his siblings called it. For some odd reason, Max had been having the same recurring dream for the past week. This time was no different than the previous 6 days that he'd experienced this particular dream while sleeping. He heard the same voice in his head again, the voice sounded like a young woman's. "Awake, oh sleeping hero.", he heard the voice say. Then the voice continued. "For your time has come, chosen one… It's now time for you to realize your destiny and fulfill it… The God of Creation, Elohim has appointed you. A time of reckoning will soon come. It's time you made a choice… will you accept the destiny he's given to you and is calling you to? Or.. will you reject it and leave thousands, maybe even millions and billions to die? Your decision will likely mark the path you'll take in the future. You were born for such a time as this, now awaken!," the voice shouted. After he heard the shout in his dream, Max shot up from his bed. Gasping for air, he decided to take a look around his room. Max felt himself and realized that he was drenched in sweat. The flame haired teen then got up and headed to the bathroom to wipe the sweat off of himself. Once he began washing himself off to get rid of the sweat, he wondered why he was having these bizarre dreams recently. It seemed odd to him that he would start having these dreams recently out of nowhere, there had to be some reason why he was having the dreams he was. Then there was the fact that they were the same dreams too, that had to mean something.

Once he was done washing himself off and ridding himself of the sweat on him, he returned to his room and sat on his bed. As Max was trying to get his bearings and properly wake up, he heard a knock at the door followed by a familiar voice. "Big brother? Are you awake now?," a voice asked. Max knew who this voice belonged to, it was his younger sister, Mist. He smiled and waved for her to come into the room. He thought it was just her, but wasn't surprised at all when she was followed by both of the Tokyoheim twins and Colbert. This fuchsia-purple haired girl was Mist Dragonblade, she was Max's younger sister and the youngest of the 3 Dragonblade children. She was 12 years old now, so a lot of her childlike way of speaking had disappeared. Some of it remained however, this was most likely due to her having a soft spot for her eldest brother. The two twins with her were Hoko and Honoo, both were a year younger at 11. "I was beginning to wonder when you'd ever wake up.," Colbert said. This is Colbert Dragonblade, the 2nd of the 3 Dragonblade children. Max wondered though.. How long had the 4 of them been awake? "How long have you guys been awake? And.. when did Hoko and Honoo come over?," Max asked while still a little groggy from waking up so suddenly.

The 4 younger kids looked at each other, unsure of how to answer Max's inquiry. Finally, Mist answered him. "Well.. We've been awake for at least a few hours while you slept. You were pretty tired so we didn't want to wake you so early.,"Mist answered. This garnered his attention. "Wait.. so if you don't mind me asking.. How late is it anyways?," Max asked curious now. Colbert interrupted briefly before letting mist answer that question. "Say bro, i have to get going now. I promised to help mister smith with some errands today, so i'll catch ya later.," Colbert said as he exited the room. The other three kids aside from Max, all waved bye to him as he left. Max cleared his throat, gaining Mist and the Tokyoheim twins attention. "Well?,"Max asked. Unsure how to tell him in a way that he wouldn't panic, Mist, Honoo, and Hoko all looked at each other. It looked like they all came to a silent agreement of sorts. Mist then just put it as bluntly and politely as she could. "Well.. I think it's about 11:00 a.m. right now. So.. I believe we woke up at around 8:30 give or take?," Mist answered feeling sweat run down the back of her head. She more or less knew how Max would respond. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!," Max asked, falling off his bed and onto the floor. The twins winced when he hit the floor. While it was rather funny for them to see Max's comical overreaction to how long he slept, it looked like it hurt when he hit the floor. His reaction was understandable though, he'd promised his best friend Skyye that he'd come visit her today at around 12:30 their time. "Shoot! I have to get ready, so uh.. Wait downstairs will you? I'll be as quick as i can!,"Max said in a hurry. Before she and the twins went downstairs though, she asked Max something. "Look Bro, I know it's your birthday and all but i was wondering…,"Mist said trailing off. "Yes?," Max answered while hurriedly gathering his things to go get ready. Mist continued. "You think I could come with you when you go and visit Skyye today? You did promise me last time.," Mist asked. "Sure you can come with.,"Max answered. The twins went to ask but Max answered their question before they could open their mouths to ask it. "And don't worry, Hoko and Honoo, we've already got permission from your folks to take you with us.," he answered. Both of them smiled and fist pumped before following Mist downstairs. Five minutes later, Max was ready to go as the 4 of them headed out of the door.

They headed down to the docks to find a spot for the hydro bike Max had been fixing. They'd get to Kratos Island much faster this way than by boat. Of course, they needed to be sure that the bike had enough fuel to get there which it did. The 4 hopped on and held onto Max as he started the bike and sped off towards the island. As they took off, Mist remembered that they hadn't picked up anything for Skyye. "Don't worry Mist, we'll pick up some things once we get to the island alright? It shouldn't be that long anyways, we'll be there in like 20 minutes.," Max assured her. Mist had gotten Max a present too since it was his birthday, he was turning 15 today after all. One could tell that mist was a girl at heart, but she wasn't interested in many of the things typical girls were. She did like to shop, but more just here and there. Dresses, makeup, or most feminine things just didn't appeal to her how it did to most girls. She guessed that was due to living on somewhat of a remote island, which didn't have much in the way of fashion or feminine things that bigger countries did. She was considered a tomboy, but only because she hung out with her brothers so much. Mist had remembered to bring Skyye's present that both she and Max technically made. This brought relief to Max as he continued driving the hydro bike towards the island in the distance, but increasing the speed now. It was mostly an uneventful drive there, other than the occasional chatter from the twins. They finally arrived at the shores of Kratos Island a few minutes later. The twins were amazed, they'd never been to the island before now. "Welcome to Kratos Island, Honoo and Hoko.,"Max said.

Max and Mist waved over the twins to follow them, they caught up with their two friends and walked towards the center of the island. As the 4 kids walked towards the island's epicenter, a lone ship materialized in the distance not far from the island. This ship was a Sylverant airship that was in the area for recon. Inside the ship were several soldiers pacing back and forth while performing different duties for maintenance. In front of the ship, were the pilots and captain overseeing operations. While the captains and crew were busy with operations, a lone and tall figure approached the cockpit. The figure was dressed from head to toe in steel gray and black armor, he had a helmet covering his face and his voice was different compared to how it actually was. This figure had a tremendous amount of influence, he was after all Emperor Tenguu's General of the Right. This man was Toshimori Torrah, a former member of the 6 Great Clans. As he came to the cockpit, he noticed the 4 figures on the island in the distance from the ship's surveillance scopes. He raised an eyebrow under his helmet, though no one could tell because of the helmet. "Captain.. Who are those 4 brats there?," Toshimori asked. The captain then brought up something on a screen that appeared in front of the general. "The taller two of that group are Maxwell Dragonblade and Mist Dragonblade, the eldest son and the youngest daughter of the Black Demon Hunter and the Crimson Maiden respectively.," the captain said nervously. The general seemed to regard the information as if he were storing it somehow before nodding. "And the other two?," Toshimori asked. The captain followed the same sequence and brought up the faces of the twins info from what he could gather. "The other two are twins in fact. Hoko and Honoo Tokyoheim.," The captain said nervously. "Tokyoheim? Ah.. I see.. So they're Reynar's children?," Toshimori asked. The captain nodded before Toshimori swiped the screens with the info off to the side for now. He walked and then sat down into a chair that'd come up from the floor. He reopened the screens with the info on the 4 children and sat down. "Continue to monitor the island with your drones out of sight, I want to see what these brats are made of. If they are who I think that they are, I'd like to test their strength.," Toshimori said. "Yes, right away General!," Captain said. This caused Toshimori to chuckle at what he found out. "Well, well.. It looks as if we've finally found you, Dragonblade. I wonder… Just how strong are you really?," Toshimori thought aloud.

Back on the island, the four went into the small town to pick up a few things for when they went to visit Skyye. While it was primarily a grocery run for the meal they'd have at the Blacksmith's home, Mist and the Tokyoheim twins took some time to browse some of the different shops. Since the shops were close in proximity, Max could keep an eye on the younger adolescents. He was responsible for their safety as the eldest one there. The three younger kids were amazed by the size of the town of Guerinville. While it wasn't huge like the cities they'd heard about, it was still a fairly decent size for a supposedly small island village.

Mist, of course, offered to help her older brother with some of the shopping. While reluctant at first, he quickly changed his mind after a certain… proposal of Mist's was made if she couldn't help. "Maybe I should tell Skyye how you really feel about her.. Hmm?," Mist said mischievously. This of course caught the attention of the Tokyoheim siblings, who were with them. "Max you like Skyye, don't you?," Honoo asked, smirking.

Not sure what she was getting at, he answered honestly. "Well yeah, of course I like her. We wouldn't be as good of friends as we are otherwise.," Max replied not realizing how that sounded. This caused Mist and Honoo to gain rather mischievous smirks at what Max was saying. He felt a nervous bead of sweat roll down the side of his head at what they were trying to imply about his response to Honoo's question.

Hoko looked towards Max with a curious expression, wondering what exactly his sister and mist meant by what they said. "Oh big brother doesn't just like Skyye, he really likes. As in he has a crush on her.," Mist said chuckling mischievously. Hoko raised an eyebrow at this, looking toward Max for an answer. Max started sweating at this and coughed a few times as a sign of nervousness. "I'm sure I have no idea what those two mean. Me and Skyye are just best friends, we're not...like that. It isn't like what they're saying.," Max said, slightly sweating. He wasn't sure why it seemed like everyone thought him and Skyye were an "item", when that wasn't the case at all. At least in his mind, Max and Skyye were just best friends. They weren't anything more or anything less, despite what people were saying. If any of what his sister said was true, it was the other way around. However when he thought about that, he disregarded it. Because there was no way Skyye viewed him in that way. Refocusing, he told them just to drop the topic for now so they could get what they needed. Once they finished, they headed out to the Blacksmith's house.

Ten minutes later, they arrive at the Blacksmith's house. They knock on the door to be greeted by Skyye's parents and Grandfather after leaving her repaired hydro bike on the porch. The four apologized for being late, saying that they were delayed leaving home. It wasn't but a moment later, that Skyye came into the room in her wheelchair. She had long Auburn hair that went down to about her mid back, orange almost hazel colored eyes to go with a little bit of a darker shade of tanned skin. She also had a violet colored long sleeved shirt to go with blue jean shorts. Her legs were wrapped in bandages, as well as her neck. Their eyes softened, due to remembering Skyye's accident a few months prior to this. Skyye smiled and her eyes lit up at seeing the dragonblade and tokyoheim siblings. "Max, Mist, oh and you brought Hoko and Honoo too!",Skyye said excited.

Mist was a little shy, this was her first time officially meeting Skyye in person. The same was true for the Tokyoheim siblings, though, they weren't nearly as shy as Mist was. "Mist, this is Skyye {Sky}. And Skyye {Sky}, this is my youngest sister, Mist.,"Max said as he introduced the two girls to each other. The fuschia and violet haired girl was understandably nervous. She'd never really met anyone outside of the people she was normally around, those being her family and the Tokyoheim's. The youngest dragonblade sibling finally managed a response after what seemed like a very long period of awkward silence. "I-It's nice to m-meet you Skyye.," Mist stammered. This caused the older girl to smile warmly towards the younger one. "I've heard your brother talk about you, but it's a pleasure to finally meet you Mist. And can I just say, you're even more adorable than I thought you'd be?,"Skyye told the younger girl. She then looked towards Max before continuing. "You never told me that your little sister would be this cute.," Skyye said.

Max shrugged his shoulders at this, unsure of how to respond. Despite some concerning looks from the Blacksmith family, he assured them that she'd warm up to them eventually. Fortunately for them, Mist warmed up to them right away. They were kind people and Mist was generally a good judge of character when it came to people she was just meeting for the first time. While she was shy initially, Mist seemed to warm up to them as the day wore on. She often found herself in the midst of very pleasant conversations with the elder members of the Blacksmith family. As her brother, Max was very happy with this. He was a little nervous that Mist would feel awkward towards Skyye's family and would be quiet the entire time. Even Hoko and Honoo {Ho-No} got to know the Blacksmith family better as they talked with them.

A short while later, it was time for the meal and the cake. Everyone, including the Tokyoheim siblings, had been eagerly awaiting lunch time. "Elohim, our Lord, savior, and provider, we thank you for the abundance of food prepared before us. We count ourselves fortunate to be among family and good friends as we bless this food, as well as our time together in celebration. To you be honor, thanks, and glory in how we conduct ourselves and how we live our lives… Amen.," Skyye's Grandfather said. "Amen!"Everyone else said. Needing no extra encouragement to do so, the males, and to some extent the females ravenously dug into the food. It was a wonderful time full of stories and laughter in celebration on this special day for the Blacksmith's daughter, Skyye. That was until, it resulted in an all out race for the last of the food. This included more than a few tug of wars for the last of the meat and potatoes. The males, of course, were responsible for starting the tug of war that ensued. This included… the last pieces of bacon. Max, Hoko, and both males of the Blacksmith household glared at each other. "Excuse me young man, who said you could have that?," Skyye's dad asked with a glare. Max smirked. "Forgive me, sir Blacksmith, but I believe this bacon your wife so carefully made was fair game was it not?,"Max replied back. As the two glared at each other, another two hands reached for the last scraps. This directed the attention of both Max and Skyye's father off of each other and towards the other pair of intruders. Instead of saying anything, they simply glared at one another. While the Blacksmith's just laughed it off, Max and Hoko were serious about it. Skyye looked on, a bead of nervous sweat rolling down her face. She knew what was going to happen next. Although she knew, she could do nothing to stop it. "They're not seriously going to…,"Skyye thought right as a skirmish for the last piece of bacon started between Max and Hoko. It erupted into a comical fight devolving into a dust cloud, to which she and the others couldn't help but to laugh at how ridiculous it was. The fight ended with Max as the victor and scarfing down the last piece of meat.

After making Max and Hoko clean up the mess their "Bacon Scuffle" caused, it was time for the main event. And that was the cake and gifts. Fortunately, everyone had their fill of cake. Satisfied, that's when the presents were then brought out. Skyye's parents, of course, were the first ones to bring out presents for their daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Blacksmith had Skyye close her eyes and hold out her hands. "Okay Skyye, you can open your eyes now" is what they'd so often say when she received a birthday present from them. When the auburn haired girl opened her eyes, she was in awe of the gift her parents had given her. What she had received were some new clothes. The main reason she was in awe, was due to the fact that she didn't normally have new clothes. Her parents were poor and normally didn't have the funds to splurge on something as expensive as new clothes for her. The fact that they got her clothes as a present was not lost on her and moved her to tears. It was because she knew they sacrificed being without something in their poverty just to make their daughter smile. She hugged her parents with tears streaming down her face in joy. "Th-Thank you, mom and dad! You two are the best! I love you both so much..," Skyye said tearfully. The next person to give her a gift was her Grandfather. He gave her some new shoes, a bracelet, and ear rings in the shape of rubies. "Thank you, Grandpa!," Skyye said elated. He chuckled and gave his granddaughter a warm hug.

From Hon'oo and Hokoh, She received new hair ties. They were made with sea shells that the twins had found back on the beach a few days ago. She thought they were beautiful and thanked the Tokyoheim twins. Then, it finally came to Max and Mist with their present for Skyye. "Here, Skye. This is from both Mist and myself. To be honest we weren't real sure what to give you so uh.. We decided to make something instead.,"Max said as he handed the present to the auburn haired girl. Skye was rather curious about the wrapped up gift her childhood best friend gave her. This was from her best friend after all, so she was eager to see what it was. She gasped in excitement as she unwrapped it, immediately realizing what it was. The gift Skye received from the dragonblade siblings was a very beautiful homemade necklace that was very well made, she especially appreciated the sea shells on it. Max knew his friend loved the beach, so he knew she'd love the sea shells on it. The necklace also had a locket in the center of it so she could put a picture of someone or people very important to her. She wheeled over to both of them and excitedly hugged both Max and Mist. "I love it! Thank you both!," Skye said excited.

Alittle while later, Mist had fallen asleep. That left Max and the Tokyoheim siblings alne with Skye and her family to talk. As they began to chat, Max had told Skye that the necklace looked really good on her for some reason. After Max realized what he had just said, his face became red in embarrassment. He thought that he'd maybe said something weird to his friend and started immediately apologizing for it. Skye laughed at his antics. "Max, you can calm down already. You didn't say anything weird, just chill out okay?," Skye said to assure him. She looked at him again with an eyebrow raised in question. "Are you sure you're okay, Max? You're a little red in the face there.," Skye asked curious. Max nodded frantically as he was desperately trying to avoid Skye interrogating him as to why his face was all red. Hokoh and Hon'oo knew why and they were seen snickering as Max glared at them with his teeth clenched. "Not. another. Word.," Max said glaring at his friends already embarrassed. Skye wasn't 100 % convinced though, and called her friend's bluff. Although she was bound to a wheelchair at the moment, that wouldn't stop her from finding out what exactly her friend was hiding from her. About a few minutes later, Mist awoke from her nap. After making sure that she was completely awake from her nap, Mist asked how long she'd been asleep for. "Brother, how long was I.. (yawns) asleep for?," Mist asked. Max spoke up and told that she'd only been asleep for about two hours. But it was fine, Mist was young(er), she needed more rest anyways. "Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep like that on you all brother.," Mist said in apology.

Max put his hand on top of Mist's head and ruffled her hair slightly. "Hey no worries, little sis. You couldn't help it if you were just tired, so it's fine.," Max said chuckling lightly. Mist was relieved to hear that. She was about to thank her brother and Skye for putting her worries to rest, only to stop when her body began glowing as she was temporarily possessed by another soul. Once her conscience had been completely taken over, she began to levitate into mid air as a bright light now emanated from her being. "Mist!!!," Max cried in panic. This caught the attention of the Tokyoheim twins, as well as Skye's parents and Grandfather. No one really knew what to make of the situation and focused instead on trying to calm down a hysteric Max. Skye even tried her hardest to calm her friend down, sadly to no avail. Max only managed to calm down when Mist, or rather.. The person who took over his sister's body spoke up.

It wasn't Mist's voice though, this voice sounded.. Older and more mature than his sister. Who was this person? "Chosen Hero…," The voice said. That was weird, it was just like the voice Max heard in his dreams lately! Could they be one in the same? Max was still quite confused and puzzled as to why his sister sounded different warily answered. "Uh.. y-yeah?," He answered unsure still. The voice spoke up again as if sensing his unease. "My name.. Is Esther and I've come to help you.," Esther said. Max was still concerned about his sister and where she'd gone off to, so he asked the other soul about his sibling. "Where's Mist? Is my sister alright?!," Max asked still a little panicked. Esther thought for a moment before answering the boy, deciding it was best just to tell him the condition of his younger sister. "Do not worry, young man. I can assure you that your sister is quite safe. She is.. merely sleeping at the moment.," Esther replied. That did the trick, Max calmed down for the time being. Max then had another thought. Could he really trust what this being says? For some odd reason, he felt like something inside of him was telling him to trust Esther. Max had made up his mind, he would trust what Esther said to him.

As if she read his thoughts, she then continued. "Chosen hero… Maxwell Dragonblade, you must protect the earth and its people. A great and ancient evil has returned to the earth and threatens to destroy the planet.," Esther warned him. Max was a little bit puzzled at the news. A "great evil"? What did she mean by that? And.. what about protecting earth and its people from this evil? It didn't quite make sense to him. Almost as if she sensed what his question would be, she answered it. She continued. "The evil I speak of is a hybrid fusion of a Demon Lord and a human being in human form. The Demon I speak of is the reincarnation or the vessel of Hades himself, Tenguu Sylverant.," Esther answered. After he heard Esther's answer, it occurred to him that he'd heard that particular name somewhere before. It was then that the boy realized that Tenguu was the one responsible for the 'coup de tat' which brought him to power 10 years ago. Tenguu was the reason why they had to flee Sylverant a decade ago and why in a single night so many people were hurt and killed during that attack. Esther seemed to have picked up on the fact that Max remembered where he'd heard the name Tenguu before. It was evident due to what she said next. "Young heroes… the time has come for your latent abilities to be reawakened.," She said. Skye's family was a bit concerned about that and asked Esther what exactly she meant by her words .She told them it wasn't anything bad and not to worry so much about it. "I am merely reawakening the latent powers within these young men and women.," she said reassuring them. This brought Skye's family a bit more comfort, but they were still just a little but concerned. Out of curiosity they asked: "What do you mean by latent powers and abilities?" She immediately answered. "Max, Skye, Hon'oo, and Hokoh aren't normal humans, their powers were sealed when they were young. Their abilities have remained dormant inside of them, until the moment they would need them. That moment is now.," Esther told them. Skye's family were still a bit confused about it, so esther went on to explain that the teenagers gathered there were something called Demon Slayers. "Demon Slayers?," The adults asked in confusion. "Yes. They're mercenaries or warriors who specialize in slaying Demons, as the name implies.", Esther explained before continuing. She also explained that one the group of teens received their powers again, everything would become that much clearer. "It is the same with this girl, Mist, who is merely in a deep slumber at the moment.," The spirit implied. She then proceeded as she faced the other gathered teens. "If you could have powers ,would youuse them to save the world and protect everyone around you? Or would you leave the planet and its people to the whims of their own fate?," Esther asked. Max was quick to answer and said without hesitation he'd use them to save as many people as he could. The Tokyoheim twins followed suit, not even hesitating to say they'd protect the world if possible. Skye was the only one who was a little less certain at first. However, after some convincing from Max and the Tokyoheim twins, she said that she was willing to protect as many people as she could. Esther then instructed Max on what he needed to do. The flame haired boy did as instructed and let the spirit touch his forehead. As soon as he did, there was a brilliant and blinding flash of light that shook the entire house.

When the light subsided, Max was surprised at the power he felt coursing through his body. Though this was his first time consciously feeling such power, it somehow felt.. oddly familiar. It was like… he'd known this feeling before… "Is.. this.. My power?,"Max asked slightly stunned. "I feel like I could do anything with this!," Max said excitedly. Skye had a sinking feeling that Max was about to do something really dumbwithas excited as he was about his new power. Sure enough, her gut feeling was spot on. Max tried to test the sturdiness of the floor… only to break the floor and proceed to fall through to the basement with a giant thud. Everyone winced as he landed with a "BOOM!" in the basement. "I'm alright…,"He called back up. The shockwave however caused a giant wave taller than the trees to wash over their beach house, soaking everyone and shooting out of the other side of the house. If one was watching outside it would have seemed to be rather comical. Max somehow was the only one not to get soaked by the giant water wave. As he climbed back up from the basement,he reached the top floor only to be mt by an irate Skye. "MAX, YOU IDIOT! WhAT WAS THAT FOR?! THAT WAS THE DUMBEST THING YOU COULD'VE POSSIBLY DONE TODAY!",Skye thundered at him. Unnoticed by the furious girl, Max lost his balance as she yelled at him making the unfortunate boy tumble all the way back down into the basement… again.. After seeing fall through the floor andinto the basement again, Skye couldn't help but to laugh. This in turn, caused everyone else to laugh as well.

Later after everyone was dry, it was now Skye's turn. She knew what to do after watching Max and the twins in the interim as everyone was drying the water from their clothes from earlier. After Skye had her forehead touched, a voilent wind swept through the house and subsided shortly after. Skye looked at her hands, but also noticed something else… she could stand on her own two feet! "I'm better?," She asked surprised and happy. "Yes child, it was never meant for you to be crippled.Your latent abilities have restored your ability to walk.," Esther said. The Blacksmith family was overjoyed at this revelation, their daughter had been crippled since a near lethal accident half a decade agotook her ability to walk away from her. But now, she could walk and run again! "I can see what you mean by what you must have felt, Max! This power… is incredible!," Skye said elated. After Skye had gotten used to power flowing through her being, Esther spoke up again. She reminded Max about what he should do next. He had to assemble a team of fellow Demon Slayers to stop Tenguu and dark army's plans. "What you ultimately decide to call yourselves is up to you. I would advise you to pick a name that helps you to stand out. A name that will distinguish you from the other guilds of individuals like yourselves.," Esther told them. Max took everything Esther has said into consideration.

After he'd heard Esther through, he asked her if she could return his sister to them. Esther, having nothing else to say to them agreed of course. As promised Esther closed her eyes and returned Mist to the other teens. Before Esther left, she reminded Max that he'd have to pay a little trip back to his Master, the twins father, Reynar. Like the teens themselves were now, he was also a Demon Slayer. Just like a cloud, the light faded and Mist was indeed herself again. Mist was confused as she looked kind of.. lost. "Uh… brother, what.. Happened to me? And why are my hands tingling?," She asked. Mist obviously didn't even remember what happened to her. Max filled her in on what happened and that somehow Esther had unsealed and reawakend her dormant Demon Slaying abilities. "So.. in other words, i'm just like you guys are now?," she asked. Max and Skye nodded. "Yeah, pretty much 'lil sis,"Max replied with a smile. Just then the shadowof a large ship passed over head. It was so loud, it very easily could've been heard from over a mile away. Skye saw the ship and her blood froze. She called to her other fiends inside the house to come outside. The teens ran outside, just as Colbert and Nizume arrived. The teens faces went pale at what they saw, it.. Was a zeppelin from Sylverant. Colbert asked what was going on, only for Max to touch his brother's forehead. Colbert felt kinda odd as power ran through his being now, however Max had no time to explain things right now. That Zepplin was headed for Guerrinville, not good. "I'll explain later, Coby. We need to get to town before that Zepplin does!,"Max said. Colbert nodded in understanding. "Mom, dad, Grandpa! We're headed into town to warn everyone, Sylverant's here!,"Skyye said. Her parents came out and nodded. "Alright, be careful. We'll warn everyone on this side!," Mr Blacksmith said. Skye nodded as the 6 teens then ran off towards town. It was now an all out race against time. Would they get to town and warn everyone to evacuate, or… would Sylverant's air ship get there first?
