The Lake

As the black "ship" swam through those silver waters, the waters departed themself before it, as if afraid. The closer one looked, the more eyes would see, the sight of water shivering. The waters never touched the ship, yet the ship was still passing through it, an impossible feat made possible in this eerie lake. As time passed the red sun high above gave its gift of its red color to those shivering. This sight gave the priest the perception that the ship was cutting through living blood. This scenery, disturbing in its view, made the priest glad he had nothing better to do other than sit there.

It was not like he was about to start a conversation with the tadpoles, lest he say something stupid and these scary things rip him to shreds. So instead he decided to just peer into the Strange mirror like water. Yet what did he hope to see? A monster? Treasures? He did not know. All he saw was his own reflection. As he stared deeply at his own reflection, he began to let his mind wander on the events that had just taken place and ask himself how did I get myself into this.

But the longer he stared into those waters, the more he felt disturbed by his own reflection. Suddenly the boat started to stir and rumble, till a mouth started to form. In a voice that sounded like multiple children yelling: Hehehe stupid human, SHUT UP! WE HAVE NO TIME FOR THAT, NOW LISTEN HUMAN DO NOT STARE INTO YOUR REFLECTION TOO LONG! LEST YOU LOSE YOURSELF IN IT! NO FAIR! WERE SUREPOSE TO TALK AS ONE! THEN TAKE YOUR JOB SERIOUSLY!

Also, we are almost there, so it doesn't matter who talks to him. Anyway, humans stop trying to get yourselves killed before the master sees you. The sudden yell shook the priest causing him to blink and turn his head, while his head turned his own reflection did the cliche of not moving. The priest replied I see, but out of curiosity what do you mean by lose yourself? What would have happened?

As one voice replied:

ALL REFLECTIONS LEAD TO A DOORWAY INTO THE MIRROR. THOUGH IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PHYSICAL BODY TO CROSS OVER, SOULS CAN. YOU SEE A DOORWAY WORKS BOTH WAYS WHEN YOUR SOUL ENTERS THE MIRROR, IT DOESN'T JUST LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN, NO, IT LAYS DOWN THE RED CARPET FOR ALL LOST ONES TO FIND YOUR BODY TO POSSESS IT. THANKFULLY YOUR IN THE MASTER DOMAIN SO THAT IS UNLIKELY, HOWEVER, IT WOULD ALLOW IT TO TAKE A DARK FORM COPY YOU, WHERE YOU WOULD THEN HAVE TO ENGAGE IN A DUEL. BEFORE YOU ASK WHAT THAT IS, THE MASTER CAN LIBERATE FURTHER IF YOU WISH TO KNOW MORE. O AND BEFORE YOU ASK WHAT THE LOST ONES ARE, THEY ARE THE UNFORTUNATE OR CRIMINALLY SENTENCED SOULS FROM ALL REALMS, THAT FELL INTO THE DOOR. UM… ENOUGH TALK WE ARE HERE! O! I ALMOST FORGOT DO NOT STRAY OFF THE PATH! [Random auto voice] YES WE DID IT, DID IT SOUND COOL HUMAN? Hehe

As soon as the monsters said their peace, the priest turned to look at the island, completely ignoring the question the children like monsters asked. Only to see the island was far larger than he originally thought it was. As soon as the "boat" touched shore the priest wasted no time in scurrying off the boat, like his life depended on it. The second his foot touched land, the monster said, WELL MISTER THAT IGNORES US GOOD LUCK WINNING THE MASTER FAVOR TEHEHE. With that, the monster ship crumbled like a sand castle and vanished into those mirror-like waters. This action however went unnoticed by the priest as he was busy soaking the view of the vast woodland world that lay before him.
