Laurence! Bring me back the bodies of those two mercenaries as well as the body of a wild horse of any kind, I am going to make you some bait for future hunts.

Beep Boop! Lanthios are you going to make some more minions? If so, you did gather some fear points off those two goons. To be exact you received 30 points. I know that not enough to purchase any of the special minions in the system shop, but you also received martial loot off those mercenaries. Would like to use the factory to help upgrade Father Puppet, or use it to make other miscellaneous stuff like armor or sword etc..

Save them to make armor and weapons, and yes I plan to turn those two goons into skeleton warriors so they will need those things, well to be exact I will be making one skeleton knight and one skeleton cavalry.

Beep Boop understood, but Lanthios what do you plan to do with them?

POV The Pig Camp

Sir…Sir…Sir!!!! Whaaat! Do you want Leon! Can't you see I'm a little busy right interrogating our sweet little flowers! This better be important, or you will not get your turn!

Captain Baysan It just. It just.. What Leon! Just spill it out! It's late and the scout has neither seen the new recruits Logan, Jake or Paul sir… And it's around almost dusk sir.. Should we send out a party to go and find them?

Leon! You are disturbing me for something like this! Just get their squad leaders to go and find them!

But sir that's the problem, you are their squad leader!! Oh that right! Sigh just do what you suggested early. From a party of five and go look for them and make sure they are back before it gets too dark, there shouldn't be any strong monster out there in this part of the forest but you never know. They probably found some more "flowers" and are keeping them for me for a time.. Those ungrateful bastards. Leon! Mark it down when they come back that they are to never touch another 'flower' while we are on this mission! Got it!

Some random mercenary asked : I don't get it sir Leon why is that big Barbarian the leader of this expedition? Sigh.. are you blind or just stupid? Can you not see the armor he is wearing or the weapons he wields? I can tell you now not just anyone can get those in the barbarian tribes you know. They must be earned through blood and conquest!

You mean his two double sided twin axes that are engraved with the insignia of our pig mercenary group?

Yes and no, sigh… new recruits really need to brush up on their history of our group. Look, the reason his axes and armor is engraved with that symbol is not only because he is part of our group but mainly because our group was started by a barbarian. Also be careful how you talk about the barbarian tribes in his presence or anywhere in this camp in fact because he can hear you, he is max rank 2 after all! If he hears you, you might end up dead without even knowing how.

Wait sir if he's rank 2 and maxed at that, then why is he here leading a bunch of fresh recruits like us?

Well Max rank 2 may seem strong to you guys but for the upper echelon that is but the starting point. He also just reached max right when he got this mission so he had to put off reaching rank 3. He is also not happy about it so try not to bring it up ok. And to better answer your questions, all rank 2 are made to lead a mission like this with a bunch of new recruits to test their leadership abilities to see where to place them later on.

Well that's all well and good sir but what are we going to do about the missing recruits?

Tell squad eight to gear up, and once they're ready send them in the direction that Logan went, and if they find anything suspicious or out of the ordinary tell them to retreat immediately and report back. I don't want to lose more people, especially since we only got about one hour left of daylight.. Sigh hopefully it's nothing, but why do I get this terrible feeling like before sunrise tonight many people are going to die.

1 hour later

Some random guard on duty on the wooden wall says, Hey look, someone is coming out of the forest! Wait I know that guy, he's from squad eight that went looking for missing recruits! But didn't they just leave? Why are they back so soon? And better yet why only one of them? Where's the rest of the team or the missing? Who cares, hurry up and open the gate, replied Lion.

That's it! calm down young man, you're safe here.. Here, take some water. Leon, hold up! Replied the healer on site. I know you want to ask him lots of questions but right now the man needs rest can't you see he is badly injured, he's missing an arm and has heavy claw marks on his back!
