I know Malena likes this town and feels some kind of connection, but I don’t. I feel that we are being watched. I’m not sure if this feeling I’m having is right, but I do know that I have a bad feeling about being here. I’m not going to tell Malena, I’m going to keep it to myself until I find out what this feeling is. This bartender keeps staring at us. I don’t want him to know I sense this from him, so I keep talking to Malena.


“Don’t make it obvious, but I do see what you meant about this bartender. He keeps staring at us!”


“I told you. There is something not right here!” she replied.


“You have the same feeling as I do then? I feel like we are being watched or something,” I said.


“Yes. I do. Something isn’t right about him. How can we find out what’s going on?” she asked.


I had to pause for moments and think about this. I’m not really sure what to think or do.
