44. Reasons to Like

"Cal..vin..."

"Hu- huh?"

Calvin covered his mouth with the back of his hand after Dhian lowered her hand, Dhian slowly backed away from Calvin. While Calvin lowered his head, he had no idea about their current situation.

Duakk

"Awh...!"

Calvin's eyes widened when he heard complaints from Dhian's lips after the sound of the collision, Calvin again closed the distance between them because Dhian accidentally hit the wall behind her.

"Are you okay? Does your back hurt that much?"

"I'm fine."

"Do we need to go to the school infirmary?"

Dhian shook her head and suddenly Lauren appeared in the middle of Calvin and Dhian with her hands on her hips, the girl stared intently, as if she didn't like the two figures she was seeing right now.

"You guys are being perverted? Disgusting," Lauren hissed.

"Watch your words," Calvin replied, no less sharply.

Lauren laughed sarcastically. "Do as you please, I don't care either."

"Hah..."

Dhian looked down until Lauren left and Calvin immediately checked Dhian's back worriedly, even though Dhian had said confidently that she was fine. But Calvin is still stubborn, he doesn't know what else to do.

"But, why did you follow Tiffany and Lauren earlier?"

"That.. actually I'm a bit worried about Tiffany."

"Why?" asked Calvin confused. "Even though she was one of the girls who bullied you."

Dhian nodded, it was true that Tiffany often bullied herself. But this time was different, Tiffany has been close to Satria lately and actually many don't like their closeness, including Lauren. How is Satria's attitude, quite a lot of people like him.

"I'm not vengeful," said Dhian.

"This is the reason why I like you," Calvin smiled while stroking Dhian's head gently.

"Eh?"

Calvin realized what he had just said and immediately raised his hand from above Dhian's head, he turned his head and looked in all directions to try to avoid Dhian's gaze.

"Like you as a friend..."

"Aa.. if that's the case I also like Calvin, like how you've been acting so far."

"Eh? Oh, I see..."

Calvin and Dhian walked towards their respective classes, but it turned out that when she passed Calvin's class, the man didn't stop and followed Dhian to her class. When at the classroom door, Olivia and Arka looked at each other to make sure they were standing side by side in front of the class.

"Where are you going, Vin?" asked Arka.

"Come here," Calvin replied nonchalantly.

"Hah?"

All right, Dhian doesn't know how to get out of a situation like this anymore. Calvin had just forbade her to get too close to Arka and the man even followed her to class, this looked even stranger.

"Is there something wrong with me here?"

Arka shrugged his shoulders indifferently, while Calvin pulled a chair in front of Dhian's desk to face Dhian. But that actually made Dhian keep her head down, she was really embarrassed by Calvin's behavior, who seemed to think that nothing had happened before.

"Satria!"

"What?"

"I'm asking you seriously!"

"Already answered it seriously."

Tiffany shook her head. "No.. this isn't right."

"What's not right?" asked Satria lazily.

"This is too sudden, you who were originally close to Oliv have drifted away from each other and you came to bother me instead?"

"Does that make you uncomfortable?" asked Satria grinning.

Tiffany scowled. "It looks like you're using me!"

"Eh? You like me, don't you? Usually people who don't like their friends are normal."

"Tsk."

"Really?"

"What were you thinking, id*ot? I just..just..."

"What?"

"Huh.. forget it."

"Huh? It's so unclear of you."

Tiffany chose not to reply to Satria's words, the girl instead looked at someone who was hiding. She didn't know it would turn out like this, even though she only wanted to be friends with the friendly Satria.

"You heard that, right?"

"Humph!"

"He doesn't like me, he's just trying to avoid Oliv," Tiffany hissed.

"Love grows because of something like this."

"Then why don't you approach him?!"

Tiffany walked up to Lauren who was hiding with a glare, Tiffany patted Lauren's shoulder. But the girl brushed off Tiffany's hand roughly, she didn't seem to like whatever Tiffany did.

"You think I'm an itc*hy girl who wants to approach the guys first?"

"So you think I was the first to approach him? Hey, Lauren, he took the initiative to approach me himself. I never even thought of something like this, I actually don't believe it myself."

"Then you think I will believe you?"

Tiffany snorted. "Enough, Ren, I'm tired of responding to you like this."

"What did you say?"

"Stop your childish behavior."

"What?!"

"I don't think you're deaf."

Tiffany walked off to her class leaving Lauren whose hands were tightly clenched into fists with her face heating up with anger, it seemed that their friendship had ended here.

"D*mn it!"

"What are you doing, Ren?" asked Biancha spying lazily.

"I don't want to see Tiffany."

"Oh? You guys met?"

"You think? You and her both know if I like someone, right? She even approaches the guy I like.. j*rk!"

"Hmm.. is that so?"

"Oh yes, I never heard you discuss a man."

"Is that true?" Bianca smiled. "I like a college student."

"Hey? I don't know."

"Indeed, there's no need to mention anything like this. I also don't want to show it to anyone, because I'm afraid someone will snatch it away."

"Who's he?" asked Lauren curiously.

"Dhean, the man's name is Dhean."

"Sounds familiar," Lauren said.

Bianca nodded. "He is famous as a student who has become a young CEO, then his strength... I can use it if I'm in trouble, that's why I'm not afraid to walk."

"Biancha!"

"Oh?"

"Eh? Who?"

"He.. he's right to come, huh.. even though I don't want my friends to see him."

"I won't be easily injured from Satria..."

Lauren gulped down her urine as the man with the name Dhean got closer to them, the man widened his smile when he saw a girl he didn't know beside Biancha, Biancha nudged Lauren's waist to wake her friend up.

"Who?"

"My classmate, Lauren."

"I'm Lauren, nice to meet you."

He nodded. "Nice to meet you. So, what are you doing in front of the convenience store at this time of day?"

"Just a few stories."

"May I join?" asked Dhean who kept smiling kindly.

"That's fine, if you're not busy of course."

"Yeah..."
