46. New Student

"Again they're late..."

Arka looked out the window, saw Calvin and Dhian running to finish their sentence. The two continued to smile like the punishment was nothing, but something seemed to be different about them.

"My name is Hansel."

Arka flinched hearing that name, he glanced at the front of the class, apparently a new student had entered their class. But Arka didn't expect that the new student was someone he hated, this was of course related to the past.

"You may sit in any empty seats."

Hansel nodded, the man then smiled as he passed Arka making Arka turn his face the other way. Hansel shrugged his shoulders indifferently, he chose to sit in a place quite far from Arka.

"Okay, I'm closing class today, see you next Sunday."

"Thank you sir!"

Arka walked over to where Hansel was and Hansel stretched out his hand to shake hands with Arka, but it turned out that Arka had no intention of returning Hansel's hand. Hansel chose to lower his hand while laughing.

"Long time no see, Arka?"

"Tch," Arka hissed. "You should choose another seat."

"Why?" Hansel asked confused.

"My friend sits here."

"What? But she's not coming today, is she? If she comes, I'll move."

"She's coming."

Elsewhere, more precisely on the sidelines, Calvin and Dhian finally finished carrying out their sentences. Calvin approached Dhian and ruffled Dhian's hair gently when they were going to class.

"Do not be naughty..."

"Eh?"

Calvin just walked away without explaining what he meant by what he just said, Dhian actually didn't understand why Calvin said such ambiguous things, but Dhian didn't want to think about it too much.

Dhian walked in the corridor near her class and heard rumors that a new student had entered her class. Of course, Dhian wasn't curious and was just mediocre, surely the transfer student wouldn't want to get acquainted with her either.

"Are you forcing me too much to change seats?"

Dhian stopped in front of the door, the girl's body shook when she saw someone sitting in her seat. Meanwhile, Hansel turned towards the door, suddenly he smiled broadly when he saw Dhian's presence.

"Oh? Hi!"

Dhian lowered her head, the girl then walked towards Arka with her body trembling. Arka saw the look on Dhian's face showing worry, the man also knocked on Dhian's table.

"Move," Arka hissed.

"So this is Dhian's place?"

Arka frowned. "You know Dhian? Dhian, do you know this person?"

"This guy?" Hansel brushed aside Arka's hand pointing at him. "How come Dhian doesn't know me, you eat wrong huh?"

"Hansel," called Dhian.

"Hah?"

"Can we.. talk for a minute?"

"Okay, that's fine."

Hansel stood up, the man took Dhian's bag and put it on her desk. After that Hansel came out first, letting Dhian talk to Arka for a while.

"You know him, Dhian?" asked Arka staring in disbelief.

Dhian nodded. "Don't worry."

"Where are you going? Are you sure you want to talk alone with him?"

"Yes."

Arka stares in disbelief after hearing Dhian's reply, he doesn't know why Dhian knows Hansel. But this is not good for Dhian, Hansel is not a good man who wants to be friends with a girl like Dhian. There must be something here and Arka won't let anything bad happen.

"Where, Dhian?"

"She goes."

"Where to?"

"How would I know."

"Huh? How can you let her go alone, Arka? You want to bully her, don't you?"

Arka glared. "I don't know, she herself wants to go with that guy."

"That man?" asked Calvin confused.

Olivia suddenly approached Arka and Calvin, Olivia stood in the middle of the two men curiously and looked like she was going to say a lot of things. Arka is lazy to look at it, Olivia is too talkative and has high enthusiasm.

"Calvin, do you like Dhian?" Olivia asked seductively.

"What? That's not true," Calvin hissed.

Olivia chuckled. "Really? Aa.. I doubted your answer before you heard this~"

"What?"

"Arka, you saw them clearly earlier? Dhian asked the new students to talk alone."

"Huh? Who?"

"Look at that expression of yours... hahaha..."

"I'm being serious."

"Sorry, sorry.. but I'm also serious. Hey, Arka, the new student seems to have a bad temper, doesn't he? But he seems to be getting along well with Dhian."

"What are you talking about?"

"Gosh.. you're stupid aren't you? Just now there's a new student and he's currently talking alone with Dhian."

"What?!"

"They look very familiar, don't they, Arka?"

"Hn."

Calvin was silent in his place, he couldn't believe that Dhian was close to other people, but as far as he could remember Dhian had said that the girl had never had friends before. There's no way if the girl lied to him, this must be just a joke.

But seeing the look on Arka's face that looked so serious, Calvin doubted everything. This isn't true, Calvin has to ask Dhian about this, Calvin doesn't want to believe anyone else if it's not Dhian heeself who says everything.

"This is not good..."

"What?"

"Calvin, the new student.. ex-convict."

"Hah?!"

"So that's how it is..."

"Please..." Dhian clenched her fists. "Don't say anything!"

Hansel grinned. "Are you seriously begging me?"

"Please.. please!"

"This girl..."

"Don't say anything about me, I don't want-"

"You hide it too much, don't you? It's funny.. but, you think I will obey you even if you beg like this?"

"Hansel..."

"Wow.. it's rare that I see you like this, the funny thing is.. you're too adorable..."

"Hiks..."

Hansel flinched. "You cry?"

"Do not say..."

"Hah..."

"Hansel.. I beg you..."

"Hah.. pfft- hahaha.. we're so funny..."

"Hansel-"

"Okay."

"Eh?"

"But you must meet the conditions I made."

"What's that?"

"Hey, you!"

Hansel and Dhian turned when they heard someone's voice, Dhian quickly wiped away hee tears and looked down to see Calvin's sharp gaze. But then Dhian was surprised when Hansel suddenly put his arm around hee shoulder.

"What are you doing?! Let her go!"

Hansel grinned. "Why should I? Dhian is my girlfriend, so I have the right. Who are you?"

"Girlfriend? Don't make this up!"

"Just ask her if you don't believe me."

"Dhian, that's a lie, right? That's not true, right?"

"That's right."
