51. Meaning of Friends

"Kyaaaaaaa!"

All of Eminem's high school students surrounded the two girls who were arguing, the two of them were seen slapping each other, pulling each other's hair, and even scratching each other.

Neither one wanted to give in because they were both selfish, making the viewing students only pay attention to them. It was like Hansel watching the argument quietly while eating snacks.

It was as if Hansel was enjoying the fight in front of him, but it wasn't long until Dhian suddenly came and grabbed Hansel's ear, taking the man out of the school building.

"Why are you so happy to see people fight?" Dhian asked staring in disbelief.

"You're starting to dare huh, Dhian?" Hansel grinned. "But it doesn't matter, it's better than being awkward."

"I'm being serious, Hans."

"You don't know how fun that is."

"Huh.. instead of helping break things up, you just watched them like before."

"Is that wrong?"

"Of course it's wrong, Hans."

"Okay, okay..."

"Huh.. you are."

"I want to eat in the cafeteria with you."

Dhian smiled. "Come on, before recess ends."

Hansel nodded in response, the man then held Dhian's hand to go to the canteen. Meanwhile, they didn't realize that someone was watching them with disapproving eyes.

"Your eyeballs will pop out if you don't stop glaring like that."

"Hah..."

"You like Dhian, right?"

"You..."

"From the start I was suspicious of how you felt about that girl, but so far I've always brushed aside my thoughts about your feelings. I didn't think that everything was true, then… what's even more unbelievable is Dhian who turns out to already have a boyfriend."

Calvin closed his eyes, he was increasingly irritated by Arka's words. Calvin feels that Arka is really talkative, or that Arka has a split personality that his friends don't know about.

"What are you thinking?" asked Arka coldly.

"You really have multiple personalities huh?" Instead of answering, Calvin asked back with a look of disbelief.

"Huh? Alright, forget what I just said."

He shook his head. "I just realized how I feel lately ink, when I just realized it.. that guy came and messed everything up."

"Finally you admit it too. I actually support you more with Dhian than with Hans."

"Why?" asked Calvin confused.

"You forgot I said that Hans was an ex-convict?"

"I can't forget what you said so quickly, Ar, I'm not that old. After all, an ex-convict can certainly change, in fact Dhian looks happy."

Arka shook his head. "Something's wrong here."

"What do you mean?"

"She started it!"

"What? You started it first!"

"You slapped me first, d*mmit!"

"Lauren," said Jonathan, the counseling teacher for Lauren and Tiffany's class. "Tiffany, why did you slap your friend? Did she do something wrong?"

"I've never done anything wrong, she's the only one who lied to me!"

"Lauren, I asked Tiffany."

Tiffany snorted. "She provoked my emotions, how can I stay silent when she humiliates me in public."

"How can I not be angry if you do this to me!"

"You...!" Jonathan paused in his words. "You have to clean the indoor basketball court every time you come home from school!"

"Huh?! No!"

"No resistance, now get out!"

Blam

Tiffany leaned her back against the wall beside the counseling room door, she couldn't believe the problem would get this complicated. Lauren hated her and Tiffany also wouldn't stay silent if Lauren did this to her.

"You guys still here?"

"Biancha..."

"Cha!"

"Hah..."

Tiffany turned her face. "You guys if you want to embarrass me think first."

"Hey, Fany," said Biancha. "We both know that Lauren likes Satria, but you stabbed her in the back. What kind of friend are you?"

"I did it for a reason."

"Reasons? What reasons, huh? You think someone's feelings can be toyed with so easily?"

"You guys are going to keep fighting like this?"

Tiffany, Biancha, and Lauren turned around in surprise when they heard the voice of a new student who was rumored to be going out with Dhian. The man then pulled Tiffany to stand behind him.

"You know what's so sad?" Hansel asked and immediately answered. "When a friend bullies her own friend because they like the same man, even though the friend who is being bullied is a figure chosen from a man."

Lauren glared. "This has nothing to do with you!"

"Oh yes?" Hansel grinned. "Then the news of this girl dating Satria also has nothing to do with you."

"What?"

"I will tell Satria everything about what you guys did to his girlfriend."

Hansel said while pulling Tiffany's hand to follow him away, he didn't care about Lauren's screams of rejection, after all he was satisfied with the drama they had created. But actually, he wanted to see another drama after hearing the story which was the truth.

"What?! Hey, don't do that!"

Biancha restrains Lauhen. "Let him."

"What? But-"

"That guy.. he seems like a cunning guy, looks like he's just playing with our dolls."

"I don't care about Dhian anymore! I don't want that d*mn man to meet Satria!"

"Lauren... you can't be relied upon," Biancha hissed softly.

"What did you say?"

"No, I'm just kidding."

In contrast to them, Hansel is now letting go of Tiffany's hand behind the school building. The man pushed Tiffany towards Satria who was smoking with Arka, this made Satria and Arka surprised and confused.

"Shouldn't you be responsible for this girl being bullied?" asked Hansel grinning.

"What happened?"

"I've done it until here, it seems you guys need to talk about it. Then.. don't let this girl go, she looks pitiful..."

"How do you eat it? Why is it so messy?"

Dhian flinched when Hansel suddenly cleaned around her lips using a finger, Dhian looked down in embarrassment at Hansel's treatment, especially when Hansel did it in the cafeteria when it was busy.

"Don't look down like that, Dhian," said Hansel.

Dhian looked up. "You are..."

"What?"

Dhian pinched Hansel's waist while Hansel immediately winced in pain, but then both smiled. Hansel also fed the last bite of his hot dog into Dhian's mouth because he saw Dhian's hot dog had run out.

"What are you doing? I'm so stuffed!" Dhian protested.

"Just let it be, so that your strength increases."

"Is that so?"

"Then?"

Dhian snorted. "Don't ask me."

Hansel gently ruffled Dhian's hair happily after pinching the girl's nose, Dhian rebelled and protested. But Hansel just kept laughing seeing Dhian's funny face when she was so annoyed.

"Calvin," he called.

Calvin got up after finishing his food and immediately left the cafeteria, he couldn't keep seeing Dhian with another man like this. Calvin did say that he wouldn't bother and let Dhian be happy, but if it continued like this, he wouldn't be able to hold himself back.
