Daxon’s Assailant (Part 2)

At the thought that the man might be bleeding inside his skull and that there is a possibility that he is already dead or might die in the next couple of minutes, the woman dropped the skillet on the floor and searched for her phone in her pocket.

Though her hands were shaking, she managed to dial a number, and then she placed the phone on her right ear. Her shocked eyes were fixed on the seemingly dead man on the floor in front of her.

The moment the person answered her call, she looked like she was about to cry and said, "Hello. Uhm…I t-think I k-killed someone. But I didn't mean to! It was an accident! He just came in and I–" Her stuttering was cut midway when the person from the other line said something.

She nodded her head and said, "Okay," Then she hung up the phone.

"Oh, God!" The woman cried as she slumped on the floor. It was just the second day of her job but she had killed a man…or maybe he is not yet dead, but still…
