Ambrose Ore’s Visitor

A car swerved left and right through the highway and it was lucky enough that it was almost midnight and the highway was leading to a small county so there were rare to no vehicles on that highway so it was safe from a collision.

But that doesn't mean it was safe from a self-accident.

Fortunately, it reached the last curve of the highway. As it rounded the curve, it was greeted with a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountain across the small lake that shimmered because of the reflection of the moon.

The car entered a small dirt road that would lead to a couple of small houses that lined the edge of the lake until it stopped in front of one of those small houses.

It was an idyllic one-storey house made of wood planks. It has a front porch with two sets of chairs on both ends that would be a perfect spot for watching the lake and the snow-capped mountain across it.
