The Empty Community Pool

Daxon left the church in deep thought. There were lots of questions racing in his mind and he almost did not notice the huge sign of the community pool. He parked in the huge yet empty parking lot in front of the community pool.

Daxon stepped out of his car and looked at the huge signage above the single-story establishment where the entrance of the community pool is. His eyes landed on the gate that was slightly ajar and then he walked toward it.

Daxon assumed that there were no people inside since the parking lot was empty and the gate was almost closed as if someone entered and just pushed it back to close but didn't hit the latch. And besides, Daxon noted that the weather was a bit gloomy and chilly…not an appropriate day to take a swim.

Daxon pushed the gate and he was right, the community pool was empty.
