Not Letting Her Go

Daxon was too familiar with the trails of the mountain, after all, he grew up walking around there. So he knew when they were close back to the log house. As much as he wanted to prolong their stroll, he knew he cannot. He could procrastinate but it will only prolong his dreadful feeling.

He knew that once they arrived back at the log house, they would have to leave the place and go back to the city. He doesn't want to. He just wanted them to stay in the mountain…get lost in the mountain and forget everyone in the city. He wouldn't care about the people who would search for them…for the people who would worry about where they are. As long as he has Amina.

But he can't. That's just not an option. Running away was not an option.
