A Slaver’s Scream

Footsteps echoed through the dark hallway of the underground facility. The darkness…dampness and eeriness were in complete contrast to the other side of the facility which was bright, clean, and light.

The hallway was so quiet that any faint sound would bounce off its walls giving the place a chilling effect to whoever resided in there.

There were about forty people in that part of the facility. All of which were taken there against their will. Some had just turned silent as if they had already lost hope in ever getting out and they were just waiting until their lives were taken away from them. They were the ones who had been there longer…probably months. Others were silent only because they were minding their pain, hunger, and lack of sleep.
