A Five-Course Meal With The Hawthornes

Alex sighed heavily as she stared at her phone. She had sent Mason a message fifteen minutes ago and he hadn't replied yet. She is certain that he had seen her message and she has a feeling that he was deliberately ignoring her because she told him not to buy dinner for them and not to pick her up as she has other plans for the night. She didn't mention that she was dining with Andre's family but she knew that Mason could already tell.

She was standing outside the cafe that was still bustling with customers. She was wearing black skinny jeans, a striped blue shirt, and a black thick jacket since it was a little bit cold. She wanted to dress more femininely around Andre's family but he told her that they would want her to be herself than pretend to be somebody else. It was something that Alex was very much thankful for because she didn't want to pretend to be somebody else. And dressing up femininely is something that she is not looking forward to.
