Chapter 3 In the Future

I fell into another body, and eventually stopped screaming like a dying baby. Of course, all this screaming was in my head. I could literally feel my soul (my conscious) get ripped out of my previous body and enter this one, and seemed to take possession of the other body. My previous body seemed to be somewhere I couldn't sense it-meaning that mom and dad wouldn't find me at home. I sensed my new body. It was young, well nourished, lots of potential, lots of muscle memory, along with memories that didn't belong to me. I opened my eyes and looked at the mirror right next to me.

I was shocked. My new body was about 12, golden hair with startling green eyes and sharp features, giving me massive attractiveness. I wore nice clothes, with an emblem on it of a sword engulfed in flames.

I was reborn into the...Flaming Sword family? That's what my new badge said. I opened my status screen.

[Dameon Flame] Lv 76 1k/5 million

[Super Summon] Summons one skeletal beast. 200-500 damage. 4-8k health. Can be the skeleton of any existing beast.

[Growth] Acclerate a plant's growth.

[Plant control] Control plants.

[Botanist] Increased knowledge about herbs

Weird combo. Nature and earth are the elements used to create light (the fundamentals) and a necromancer, which is rare enough.

I started to shift through my memories. I was part of a family that had created their town for 7 years. A family with lots of potential. I had no siblings, parents who were usually busy. I had about three weeks before I had to take the Inheritance Tests in order to apply for the big-shot academy or something.

So, I left, making sure to act like the former host of this body did, and began to walk around, getting deep into a forest by using Super summon to summon a pure-movement beast, and it took half an hour to get to the zone I wanted to go to.

I reached the place I wanted too, activated my Bloodlust and gained the bloodlust ability, which would increase my efficiency and dps by leaps and bounds.

I was fighting Kobolds, which is basically goblins but smarter, stronger, and more intelligent, around 50% sentience. They start off about as powerful as a Lv.65 Adventurer, and gave lots of xp. Being considered a monster genius back in my time, I was able to easily deal with the swarms of these guys who where all slightly weaker than me, and whenever my bloodlust came into effect, a lot weaker. I used precise, aimed movements, going for efficient kills, always hitting a vital point.

This was bound to draw the attention of one of the higher-ups in the kobold ranking, and boy was I right. This goblin was an entire rank higher, and I anticipated the fight. I didn't know how much our skills would differ, and by killing this guy I could earn quite a bit of xp. This guy was a close-combat guy, with an axe, the most common goblin-kind used weapons, because of high damage.

Goblins usually attacked in overwhelming numbers, and by trying to get the most out of the opponent's openings, they use axes. They were still trash, though. I had perfected my movements, down to the last muscle, so every step was more efficient, used more force, and allowed me to be light on my feet.

I hated attention. I wanted to become powerful, end injustice in this world, and then be able to grant my parents a peaceful life and settle down with someone...I didn't have my sights on anyone yet.

But I had a new life now! New chances! New friends. But...I had to conquer the world or some crap, and there seemed to be others I will meet with who will be like me...from the present. What threat are we protecting the world from? The Dark Lands? A bandit group? Like seriously, they send me into the past and don't even give me clear instructions.

Mission Received: Ascension in the Past (Chain)

1st Quest: Get to Lv 80 before getting in Academy

2nd Quest: Get into the Academy

LOCKED

Well...I atleast that's good. I shifted on my feet and ducked under an attack - and went for the easiest place to get the kobold to mess up.

I sliced his balls off, and the kobold, surprisingly wasn't too hurt it seemed. I turned around, using my momentum and summoned an undead behind them. The kobold took a major hit as the undead went for the Kobold's weak spot - the center of their back, three to four inches from the spinal coord, on the darkest-green area, was a vulnerable spot.

Of course, I knew this because of some...experiements.

Don't ask. The spot wasn't immediately fatal. The kobold was still equivalent to a Lv 110 beast. But being a supergenius and being versatile has it's advantages. That point of weakness allowed me a way to win. Now I had to survive. It's strength would start to sap soon.

I used creativity - a necromancer's main weapon with our super summon ability. You just had to know it existed, and you could create it.

Knowledge is power. I summoned a light but sturdy spear, using long ranged attacks before he could get close, spinning and striking. It took 5-10 hits of good power to do any damage to him, but I was fast. I used Bloodlust and gained the ability, boosting me further. I then used super summon after killing most of his movement (ankle, knees). The summon dealt heavy hits, using a hammer that was apart of it's body. I joined in, and two minutes later, this happened.

Lv 76 3.7 million/5 million

At lower levels, this was something I could exploit. Since the monsters at this level were not super geniuses, I could use my super geninuses-ness to kill monsters way above my level. Killing monsters above your level multiplied the amount of xp you got, so at this level were everyone was trash I could speed level.

You have to use your resources.

Of course, being loud in our killing drew over another horde of them.
