The Forever Gang III

After knocking the stalker unconscious, he walked directly to the intersection.

He had made up his mind to find the gang himself the next day if they didn't act but fortunately, they did. He couldn't let this chance go to waste. Bones will temporarily change positions in the body of a lot of people very soon.

When he was close enough that he could see the intersection, he spotted people all around who didn't seem nice or friendly. 'One, two, three, four… I guess these guys are here to test me out.' He counted seven people approaching him.

"I have a little favor. Can I just finish this…" He pointed at the bag of chips. "...before we start the battle?" He continued.

"You're in no position to make suggestions. Just surrender and you'll have an easier ending. If you struggle, we'll have to break a few bones before we can take you to our boss." One of them with a bald head, bushy brows, and a scar on his neck replied Luke.

"I'm asking you guys for a favor. If I was making a suggestion, it'll be more like 'let's not engage in stupid brawling and you guys should just take me to your boss and we'll settle this like matured men'. That's more like a suggestion." Luke corrected the bald guy.

"He's f**king with us. We'll have to teach him a light lesson." Another one advised the others. "Yeah, I guess so. Don't break more bones than usual." The one who seemed to be their leader finally spoke out.

"Ah…" Luke scratched the back of his neck. "..didn't the situation of the previous ones teach you guys anything? You think I won by luck right? That's great then come at me all at once this time. I also wanna see my limit." He got into a fighting stance, extending both arms in front of himself, one farther from himself than the other, and both folded into fists. "All of you, come at me." He smiled.

"You bastard." They shouted and launched their attacks.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The sound of bones breaking echoed accompanied by the shriek and scream of his adversaries like the devil had come to visit them.

"They're weak." Luke acknowledged. They seemed weak probably because he became stronger.

"I warned you guys." He advanced towards the intersection.

Soon, a group of about twenty people approached him and in less than ten minutes, he had broken a bone from each of them. They didn't seem like much of a threat to him. He had never trained intensively but right now, it felt like he has honed these fighting skills over the years.

When he arrived at the intersection, there were more people than he had expected. The whole gang was waiting for him. They were about ninety in number.

'Damn, they're more than I had calculated.' Luke pondered.

"Aren't you guys a little too much for a grocery store worker? Come on, let's reduce the number by two-thirds." Luke seemed to be negotiating with them even after seeing their quantity. Luke was in a do-or-die situation. Any mistake on his part would lead to his impending doom. l

"Okay, we can do this two ways. First, y'all split into groups of thirty and attack, and second, y'all drop the weapons and attack all at once. Your choice." He stated.

"How about I drop my suggestions? One, you surrender and we just beat you till you drop dead. Two just go ahead and kill yourself since it'll save us the stress or three, rebel and die in the most gruesome way possible." Their boss who stood at the back of the whole squad finally spoke.

A man with a similar body as Obed. He had light brown hair and eyes with scars all over his face and body which showed because he refused to put on a shirt.

"You forgot option four." Luke smiled.

"You f***tards can go to hell." He rushed towards the nearest enemy.

"Bring him down." The boss spoke.

Luke arrived in front of his first victim.

Bang! A punch landed on the unfortunate guy's nose and it broke. The metal bat in his hand dropped as he held his nose with both hands and Luke grabbed it. When the enemy removed his hands from his nose, the bat landed on his head, sending him unconscious.

On to the next enemy, he went. The bat landed on the opponent's shoulder joint.

Crack!

The joint had been damaged but before he could shout, the bat had sent him to sleep as it landed at the back of his neck.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Crack! Crack!

With a swing of the metal bat, a bone was broken or an enemy was sent to sleep. He obtained the bat of another opponent and the battle became one-sided. One bat attacked and the other defended.

Thirty minutes had passed since the fight began and two-thirds of his enemy were either unconscious or too damaged to put up a fight.

One enemy tried to stab him with a dagger. Dodging to the side, he struck both shoulders of the enemy with his baths breaking both arms.

'Bloody hell. I better end this as soon as possible. I'm already running out of breath. My movements are getting slow and they'll probably noti…'

Slash.

A cut to his upper arm brought him back to reality. There was no time to be lost in thoughts. "He's getting weaker. Attack randomly and he'll get pushed back." The one who cut him shouted.

"That lousy bas***d." Luke was so pissed he mistook the enemy's head for a drum. He smashed both bats on the opponent's head and the guy fainted.

Slash.

Another cut appeared on his thigh. "His openings are becoming obvious, He's out of breath. Just hold on." Another person shouted.

"Ah. These sick idiots. Let's see you guys hold on then." Luke pointed to the one who had just cut him. "I'll deal with you lastly."

He dashed to the nearest one and smashed both bats on his stomach. The attack brought saliva out of the opponent but before he could even shout…

Crack.

His knees had been broken. Luke wasted no time and attacked the next and then the next.

"Finally, it's your turn." Luke had been cut in more than five places but at the moment, he felt no pain from the injuries. The bats came down continuously on the last enemy's stomach. He wanted to give this enemy a flat abdomen.

When he finished, he began to feel the pain of the bleeding cuts. He looked at the enemy leader. "Let's end this."

The boss sighed. "It'd be better to introduce myself. My name is Khar Alshon, the leader of…" "Cut! Cut!! I don't have time for your bullshit acts. Just come at me you sick bas***d." Luke interrupted his introduction.

"Rather, I'll come at you." Luke dashed at the man who held a dagger in each hand. When Luke attacked, he would deflect the attacks with the daggers.

"You seem rather skilled." Luke acknowledged the enemy.

"You're not bad either." The man who had introduced himself as Khar replied.

Bang.

"Shut the hell up." Luke slammed a bat onto his head while he was talking.

"That was foul play." The man's nose was bleeding.

"Attacking a single person with over fifty people isn't foul play? Don't give me that crap. After I'm done with you, y'all better leave the district alone or I'll be coming for a second visitation." Luke warned him.

Stab.

"Don't let your guard down." Khar's dagger pierced Luke's left shoulder and the bat fell from his hand.

"Not bad at all." Luke smiled.

'I'm tired as hell. I better end it as soon as possible. Maybe THAT will work.'

He focused on that feeling he had felt when he pulled mana into his fist and sure enough, a tiny flow of mana poured into the bat in his hand. "Let's end this." Luke dashed and began flogging the opponent continuously with his bat. Some landed on his dagger while others landed on his body. Before long, he collapsed to the ground but Luke only stopped hitting him when he fainted.

"That was refreshing." He picked up his bag which he had dropped before the start of the battle and continued his journey back home. He had deep cuts but his tiredness overwhelmed his pain at the moment.
