I Became The Lycan King's Mate

As Matthew lay on his stomach on the floor, Ruby jumped down to hug Averly and Leland. She breathed a sigh of relief that she could finally stop worrying about how they were doing at the palace.

Ruby patted their backs and asked, "I miss you both. Have you been well all this time?"

Averly's cold face became warmer than usual. She released their embrace and asked again, "Shouldn't we be the ones asking? Your Majesty, are you all right?"

Ruby didn't say a word for a few moments, making them worry, even thinking their queen hadn't found a cure to save her life.

But before they could cry, Ruby laughed at them and smiled broadly. "I'm fine! We found the cure in Tredo, and I'm sure I won't get sick as often as I used to."

"Really?" asked Leland hesitantly. He had been with Ruby since she bought him in the Mivell Kingdom, so he was used to seeing the Queen of Veritas sick.

So Leland was relieved to hear that Ruby would not get sick easily again.
