There For You ..

It was a warm and starry Friday night, and Freddy Fazbear's pizza, the well known pizzeria had just closed up for the night after another long and busy day, entertaining and feeding their customers. The animatronics, Bonnie bunny and Chica chicken were putting away their instruments for the night, while Foxy, the pirate fox from the pirate's cove was making his way to the stage to visit his friends. As usual, Mike Schmidt was on night guard duty, watching the animatronics incase they tried to get to his office. "Ahoy me harteys!" Foxy cheerfully called out as he arrived at the stage, "Hey Foxy!" The other two animatronics called back, waving at their friend as he climbed on the stage. "So, how'd the show for the kiddies go?" Foxy asked. "It went alright. Although, I'm a bit worried about Freddy. He had a headache all morning. He said he'd be alright, and later on he said it went off." Bonnie replied, helping Chica put her things away. "Yeah. Freddy looked alright during the first half of the show, but then it looked like his headache came back in the second half, because he was holding his head throughout most of the songs." Chica added on. Foxy took in what was said and nodded in response. "The captain probably over worked himself again with practising for the show." Foxy eventually replied while folding his arms. "He tends to do that a lot, since he wants to entertain the kiddies and put on a good show." He continued, nodding with his eyes closed. Bonnie and Chica thought about what Foxy had said and nodded in agreement. Their leader Freddy did often work very hard to get the songs right and perform them perfectly, so it would be natural for his head to hurt from looking at something too long. "Where be the captain now?" Foxy asked, realising that Freddy wasn't even with them right now. "Oh he's in his room backstage. He said he was going to put some things away before joining us." Bonnie replied, as he put his guitar back in its case and putting it away. "I do hope Freddy's okay though…. He really didn't feel or look energetic in the second set of our show." He added on with a sigh. Chica smiled and laid a hand on the purple bunny's shoulder. "Me too. But hey, there's nothing to worry about. Maybe it was just a one off thing." She gently told her friend, which brought a smile to Bonnie's face. "Yeah, maybe you're right Chi-." Bonnie began, before a loud thud interrupted his sentence. "What was that?!" Chica cried, turning around frantically. "It sounded like it came from the captain's room. Come on shipmates! We gotta get to him!" Foxy replied, running to Freddy's room, with Bonnie and Chica in tow. They arrived at the door and Foxy pushed it open with all of his strength.

Entering the room, they all gasped in shock at what they saw. "FREDDY!" They all cried, as they saw a familiar brown bear figure on the floor unconscious. The three animatronics hurried over and Bonnie held their fallen friend in his arms. "Freddy! Freddy wake up!" Chica cried, but Freddy didn't respond. After catching a glimpse of the bear's bright red face, Bonnie laid a hand on Freddy's forehead, and gasped. "Oh man! He's burning up guys! Looks like a high fever." He informed the others. All three of the animatronics were shocked by what had happened. Freddy was running a high fever. Foxy looked on in shock, but then he put on a serious face. The Fazbear needed help, and he needed it now. "Right, Bonnie, help me get the captain into bed! Chica, get a damp cloth!" Foxy instructed the others. "I'm on it Foxy!" the yellow chicken responded, rushing off to get what she was asked to get, while Bonnie and Foxy stayed with Freddy, carefully laying him in his bed. Bonnie and Foxy heard Freddy's raspy breath, as he breathed in and out, clearly suffering from the fever he had. "Hang in there Freddy. You're gonna be okay." Bonnie soothed the brown bear the best he could, trying to comfort him while Foxy pulled the blanket over Freddy's body once his head was safely on the pillow. Chica came back with a damp cloth in one hand while panting, trying to catch her breath. "I've got the cloth!" She eventually announced, giving the cloth to Foxy, who gently laid it on Freddy's forehead. "You'll be okay captain. We promise." Foxy whispered to the sleeping Freddy. Bonnie, Chica and Foxy didn't dare leave Freddy's side, incase their leader needed something or woke up at any time. "That Mike guy can have a peaceful shift tonight. Freddy's our main priority right now. We gotta help him get better." Bonnie told the other animatronics who nodded in agreement. "Your right Bonnie. The captain needs us." Foxy agreed.

Sometime went by, and Freddy still hadn't woken up. Bonnie and Foxy sat by their friend's side, while Chica kept the cloth damp in an attempt to bring Freddy's fever down. Foxy could see how concerned his friends were about their leader, and they were right to be worried. Freddy wasn't just their leader, he was their friend. And without him, the gang wouldn't be complete. Their circle of friends would be one friend down. Eventually, Freddy's blue eyes opened up slowly, and he could see his friends around him, looking very worried about him. "Guys?" Freddy croaked out, which brought a sigh of relief from the others. "Freddy, you're awake. That's good." Bonnie sighed, with a smile on his face. "Captain, it's good to see you're awake." Foxy added on. "What happened? Where am I?" Freddy asked weakly, taking a look around the area. "You're in your room captain. You collapsed and you have a very high fever." Foxy explained with a sigh. Freddy gasped slightly at what Foxy just said. "I-I have a fever? But how?" He asked, shivering slightly. "Well, you did have that headache earlier Freddy. Maybe that's what caused this fever of yours to develop so quickly." Chica responded, placing the cloth back on Freddy's forehead. "Why didn't you tell us you weren't feeling very well Freddy? We would have cancelled the show if we knew you were gonna get this sick." She continued. Freddy sighed at Chica's question. "I wanted to keep the show going for the kids… I didn't wanna let them down..." Freddy replied, groaning slightly because of how feverish he felt. "That's just like you captain. Always concerned about others, putting their needs before your own. But you need to rest yourself now and then." Foxy sighed, giving the Fazbear a kind smile. Freddy gave a weak smile in response, before letting out a harsh cough. Bonnie laid a hand on Freddy's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. "You poor thing...." he sighed. Freddy shivered, but gave Bonnie a weak smile in response. Chica took the cloth off Freddy's forehead and went to make it damp again while Foxy went to get Freddy a drink. Bonnie stayed with the bear, hoping that he could comfort his friend and help take his mind off the fever. "I wish I was the one who was sick instead of you Freddy...." Bonnie admitted, which led to Freddy giving a shocked look in response. "Why?!" He exclaimed, sitting up slightly. "I wouldn't want either of you three to get ill! That would hurt me and break my heart if I saw any of you guys this way!" Freddy replied, but his voice was quiet and raspy due to his sore throat. Luckily though, Bonnie understood what he said.

"It hurts us seeing you this way Freddy.... We hate seeing you looking so weak and ill." Bonnie replied, tucking Freddy in slightly so he didn't get too cold. "I just thought that if I had what you have right now, then you wouldn't have to suffer..." he continued, giving Freddy a kind smile. Freddy gave a weak smile in response. That statement showed the brown bear just how much Bonnie and the others cared about him. And he thought it was really sweet of them to try and help him feel better. "What would I do without you guys Bonnie?" Freddy smiled as he coughed slightly. Bonnie smiled back and laid a hand on Freddy's shoulder as he laid back down in bed and Chica came back. She placed the wet cloth on Freddy's forehead, while Foxy put a glass of water next to Freddy. "You'll need to drink plenty of fluids captain." Foxy explained. Freddy smiled, and sat up to have a drink of water. Sipping the water, he could feel the cool liquid slithering down his throat, which helped to put out the fire in his throat. "Thanks Foxy…." Freddy whispered, putting the glass back down. "You guys are the best friends a Fazbear could ever ask for….." He added on, which made his friends blush with delight. "Awww thanks Freddy. And you're the greatest pal we've ever had." Chica replied. Freddy smiled. "Thanks Chica. That's one of the nicest-." Freddy began before he suddenly stopped himself speaking and he suddenly groaned. Foxy instantly saw that Freddy wasn't looking so good as the bear held his head in pain. "Captain, what's wrong?" Foxy asked him. "My head hurts... And the room's spinning ...." Freddy replied, as he began feeling extremely dizzy. Before Bonnie could question what Freddy meant, he saw that Freddy's eyes had began drooping and suddenly, the Fazbear passed out on the bed, making the cloth fall off his forehead and hit the ground. "Freddy!" The three animatronics called, but Freddy didn't reply. He was out cold. His breath was raspy as he breathed in and out. Bonnie laid a hand on Freddy's forehead and gasped at how hot he was now. "Guys, his fever's getting worse! He's hotter than before!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Oh no! This is terrible! We have to cool him down somehow!" Chica replied, picking up the cloth. Foxy suddenly had an idea pop into his mind. An idea that might help Freddy cool down. "I'll be right back mateys! I need to find an ice pack!" Foxy suddenly announced, rushing out of the room to find an ice pack. Bonnie could see that Freddy was suffering even more from the fever now. Coughing and shivering, Freddy groaned as Bonnie tried to soothe the brown bear. Foxy eventually returned with an ice pack, and placed it gently on Freddy's forehead. "Here captain. This should cool you down a lot better than the cloth." Foxy whispered. "I hope it does…." Chica added on, as Bonnie nodded his head.

Time passed by, and the animatronics were still watching over Freddy, who hadn't woken up yet after passing out the second time. They didn't dare leave Freddy's side, as they all wanted to help him recover from the fever he had. "Freddy will be okay won't he Foxy?" Bonnie asked in a worried tone, looking over at the pirate fox. "Yeah. He'll be fine matey. He'll be much better in the morning." He replied, giving Bonnie a smile. Bonnie smiled back in a grateful manner. "How did you know what to do Foxy? You seem to know a lot about sick people and how to treat them." Chica asked, tilting her head in confusion. Foxy chuckled at Chica's question, and went to fill up the glass that was next to Freddy's bed. "I guess it's just natural talent Chica. Being a fox of the sea, you've got to look out for your shipmates whenever they get green around the gills." Foxy replied, filling the glass up with water and placing it back next to Freddy's bedside. "I see. That makes sense. So, you could say, it's like a pirate's instinct to look out for their crew. So when Freddy collapsed with the fever, you knew straight away he needed help, and knew what to do." Chica continued. Foxy nodded in response to Chica's statement, which brought a smile to the chicken's face. Bonnie was more focused on Freddy, keeping an eye on the Fazbear incase his fever got worse. The purple rabbit could hear Freddy breathing in and out, coughing slightly and groaning in his sleep. Bonnie sighed in a sympathetic manner, and gently stroked Freddy's flushed cheek in a friendly manner. "Try to relax Freddy. You'll be better in the morning." Bonnie soothed. It really broke the bunny's heart seeing his friend this way. But he knew that Freddy would get better, as long as he, Chica and Foxy gave him the love and care that he needed. After a while, Freddy's eyes opened up, and he saw Bonnie, looking worriedly over him. "Hey Bon..." Freddy smiled, which brought a sigh of relief from the purple bunny when he saw that Freddy was awake. "Oh thank goodness you're awake Freddy….. I was wondering when you were gonna wake up." Bonnie sighed in a grateful manner. Freddy's ears drooped slightly, and he sat up, catching the icepack that fell off his forehead. He looked into Bonnie's eyes with his own eyes looking very droopy and tired, and his face was still bright red.

"I'm sorry if I've caused you and the others a lot of worry. You guys must have been very frightened by seeing me like this….." Freddy sighed sadly. Bonnie smiled in a kind manner, and hugged Freddy gently. "Hey, don't worry about it. You can't help getting sick. Besides, we're all here to help you get better." Bonnie soothed, gently rocking back and forth in an attempt to comfort the brown bear. Freddy smiled. He didn't know why, but he loved being held in Bonnie's arms. It made him feel happy, and comfortable. That just showed him what a true friend the purple rabbit was to him. "Freddy, you're our friend. I'll admit, we were scared when we saw that you'd collapsed and that you were developing a fever, but we knew we had to stay calm. Foxy was the one in charge, since he seemed to know more about looking after sick people than we did. We're letting Mike have a peaceful shift, so that we could help you recover." Bonnie explained to Freddy, which made Freddy smile even more. "Thank you Bonnie... I'm one lucky bear to have you, Chica and Foxy as my friends... I don't know where I'd be without you guys." Freddy whispered, hugging Bonnie back. After breaking the hug, Freddy took a sip of water before lying back down. Bonnie placed the ice pack back on the Fazbear's forehead and gave him a friendly smile. "Captain, you're awake." Foxy exclaimed in relief. "Hey Foxy." Freddy replied, giving Foxy a small smile. The pirate fox smiled back, and walked over to Freddy, carrying a cup filled with a pinky-red liquid. "Drink this captain. It'll definitely help you. I read up about this before, and it's perfect for reducing fevers." Foxy explained, handing the cup to Freddy, who sat up to collect the cup. The Fazbear slowly drank the liquid, and was surprised at how sweet it tasted. "How'd you get the ingredients to make that remedy Foxy?" Bonnie asked, while Chica went to get a fresh ice pack. "I had to go exploring for the different ingredients required. I passed Mike's office on the way down. He had one of the ingredients, so I asked him for it. After explaining the situation, Mike saw that I didn't wanna bother him tonight, so he gave it to me, and he told me where to find the rest of the stuff." Foxy explained, as Freddy finished off the remedy. "Thanks Foxy." Freddy eventually chimed, putting the cup aside. "That remedy tasted really nice. I thought it was gonna taste bitter." He added on. Foxy grinned at the Fazbear. "Well, I had a feeling you wouldn't wanna drink the remedy if I made a bitter one." He smiled. Freddy chuckled. He loved Foxy's sense of humour, and how he was trying to cheer him up.

"Here's the ice pack Freddy. It'll help cool you down a bit more." Chica explained, as Freddy settled himself back down in bed. Chica gently placed the ice pack back on Freddy's forehead, and the Fazbear gave a small smile towards her. "Thanks….." Freddy replied with a slight yawn. "That be the sound of a tired captain. You get yourself some sleep captain. The remedy will take its effect and you'll be as right as the sea rain tomorrow." Foxy explained. Freddy nodded at what Foxy said. "Okay then... You guys better get some sleep yourselves. I bet you're all worn out from looking after me all night." Freddy replied, as he heard a yawn come from all three of his friends. Chica and Foxy nodded, and they both bid Freddy goodnight before heading to their own rooms. Bonnie however didn't leave. Freddy had a feeling he knew why, and gave Bonnie a smile. "Alright, you can sleep in here with me." He whispered. Bonnie smiled, and set up a sleeping bag next to Freddy's bed. "Thanks buddy." Bonnie whispered back, snuggling underneath the sleeping bag. "Night Freddy…." He yawned, before drifting off to sleep. "Night Bonnie….." Freddy replied, letting his eye close and soon he fell into a deep sleep as well. When the clock chimed at 6am, and Mike had gone home after his shift, Foxy and Chica woke up feeling refreshed. "Chica, let's go check on the captain, and see if he's alright." Foxy chimed to the yellow chicken, who nodded in response. They headed to Freddy's room and carefully opened the door. They saw that Freddy was still asleep, and so was Bonnie. The purple bunny's eyes opened up, and he saw his friends. "Morning guys." He yawned. "Morning Bonnie." Chica and Foxy replied. Bonnie got out of the sleeping bag and stood up. Removing the ice pack from Freddy's forehead, Bonnie placed a hand on it, and a smile came to his face. "Freddy's cooled down a lot guys. He's not as feverish anymore." Bonnie told them, and the other two animatronics smiled happily in response. "Told ya he'd be better in the morning." Foxy chimed happily. Just then, Freddy's eyes opened, and he looked better than he did the previous night. "Hey, guys." Freddy murmured with a small grin on his face. "Ahoy captain! How do you feel?" Foxy asked. Freddy sat up and yawned while stretching. "A bit better. Headache's not unbearable." he replied, getting out of bed. "That's great to hear Freddy. We're glad you're feeling better." Chica chimed happily. Freddy couldn't help but giggle at Chica's joy. He then held his arms out wide. "Fazbear gang hug!" he announced happily. The other animatronics chuckled and they all gave Freddy a hug. "We're glad you're feeling better Freddy." Bonnie chimed happily. "Me to Bonnie. I'm glad that we're all feeling good today! Thank you guys so much for looking after me. Now let's make today's show a great show for the kids." Freddy replied. The animatronics cheered, and Chica quickly prepared herself for the show, while Foxy made his way back to the pirate cove. "Hey Foxy, you popping by the stage tonight after hours?" Freddy asked the pirate fox. "You were the main leader behind the situation last night after all." He added on. Foxy gave the Fazbear a smile and headed back to the cove.

"Hey Bonnie?" Freddy suddenly asked Bonnie. The purple bunny faced Freddy, and the Fazbear gave the purple bunny a friendly hug. "Thanks for everything you and the others did last night. It really helped me, and I appreciate what you said." Freddy whispered to his friend. Bonnie smiled and hugged Freddy back. "It's okay Freddy. Just, try not to over work yourself again. Okay? I didn't like seeing you sick." Bonnie replied, looking into Freddy's eyes with a pleading look in his own. Freddy smiled and nodded, "I promise buddy. I won't work so hard next time. As long as neither of you guys over work yourselves as well. I don't wanna see any of you guys getting the same way I did last night." The brown bear replied, hugging Bonnie again. After the friends broke the hug, they got themselves into position and before long; it was time for their show. As they prepared themselves, Bonnie gave Freddy a quick smile, and the brown bear gave one back. Then, the pizzeria opened up, and all the little children came running in, ready to sing and dance with the band. "Hello kids! Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's pizza!" Freddy announced cheerfully to the kids, as all the boys and girls cheered and clapped in response. As the animatronics performed the songs they knew, Bonnie often gave Freddy a quick smile during the show. He was glad Freddy was a lot better, and back to his old self. "Now that's the Freddy we all know and adore!" Bonnie thought to himself with a smile. "Okay kiddies, this next song is about my best friend Bonnie. He's such a good friend to me, and so I wanna dedicate this song to him. Let's go gang!" Freddy chimed, as the audience clapped. Bonnie was touched by Freddy's speech. He couldn't help but grin at what Freddy just said about him. The animatronics band continued their show, with Freddy sporting the biggest smile ever. He knew that he was one lucky bear, to have such good friends like Chica, Foxy, and especially Bonnie.
