As soon as they entered the car, Neal leaned his head on the chair. He suddenly felt dizzy, maybe still talking and inhaling Beatriz's ability was still much for him. Luckily, the lady didn't insert violence today.

Knox noticed him massaging his forehead, so he scooted over. "Are you alright?" he asked. He was about to start the car engine but then gave attention to the vampire.

The vampire sighed. "I am fine. There's no need to worry about me." he said it the way he was annoyed to push the mafia away. He didn't want Knox to think that he was weak again.

Though the sudden surging ability of the young lady affected him, he can still move and walk so he didn't want it to be a big deal.

He turned his head to the window and then frowned. His face reflected through the glass.

Seeing that the vampire was still in a bad mood, Knox felt relief. He didn't want to push the topic any further and just waited for the vampire to open up.
