CHAPTER 36

Claudia had sauntered into the room she had locked Travis in once again but this time around with a tray filled with food and a cup of chilled juice beside the food.

"Claudia?" Travis called, adjusting himself on the bed as he touched just anything to stand up but failed inadequately.

"Yes, it's me!" Claudia uttered, dropping the tray on the bed close to Travis. "I brought you food because you might think I'm letting you starve!" Claudia said, rubbing her arms together.

"Claudia, I'm begging you to please let me go, let me go to Flevo land, please. Have pity on me and my family!" Travis begged.

"Have pity? Did you just ask me to have pity?" Claudia barked angrily.

"Tell me something Travis, did you ever pity me when I was asking that from you? Did you ever for once feel sorry for me when I lost my daughter and father at the same time?" Claudia asked but Travis seemed to be shaking nervously.
