CHAPTER 46

Even if the kids didn't want to leave with their grandmother, they obviously had no choice or say in what they wanted because their grandmother seemed to have concluded and there was no going back! They were in their room packing their stuff into their bag to leave for their grandma's while she waited outside for them.

"Rose, why are these flowers still here?" Raya asked, staring at the dried flowers in her grip but soonest. Rose had collected them from her!

"Well, did you know that mother was fond of flowers? Especially with how nicely they scent?" Rose asked and Raya wiggled her head.

"If she was fond of them like you have said, why did she keep this one If they are dried up and don't look pretty or smell nice anymore?" Raya asked further.

"Listen, when you grow up a little older. You would understand that certain things are worth keeping even when they do not look pretty or smell good because they bring back good and happy memories!" Rose told her.
