Dangerous Redemption [BL]

"There is no need for your concern." Noah almost said these few words through gnashed teeth.

There were already some matters that were placed in the open between him and Selwynn, but the superficial peace still had to be kept

"Oh." When Anson spoke, the end of his tone was dragged out in a way that made it seem that he didn't take Noah's words to heart.

Noah was not wearing a hospital gown, proving he was pretending to be sick.

Selwynn scrutinized him carefully, then looked at Noah with a half smile, "It appears that you are still in good spirits." He paused here, then hooked his lips lightly and continued, "If that's the case, then I can transfer you somewhere safe to recover."

The corner of Noah's eyes twitched. Let's not say whether or not he trusted Selwynn, but the only other place he would be transferred was a mental hospital. It's easy to go in, but it is another story if he wanted to get out.
