Chapter 7

Before dawn, the white belly of the fish (water pollution or something I couldn't find the actual definition) appeared in the east.

Raccoon City is still quiet, with only the occasional dog barking proving that it has not yet become a "ghost town."

Several American apartment buildings in the architectural style of the 1970s and 1980s can be found one kilometer north of the Raccoon City Police Station.

One of them has 22 floors and appears to be a newly constructed high-end apartment on the main road leading to the city center. This main road is being driven by a convoy of black box cars, white SUVs, and blue pickup trucks.

The SUV turned right, leading the team away from the main road, and then left to the front yard upon this high-end apartment.

All four doors opened simultaneously, and sixteen heavily armed Omi Keron exited the vehicle in a four-man formation. Jackson, who was dressed in a suit, exited the box truck, followed Omi Keron's four combat teams, and walked towards the apartment's main entrance.

As a high-end apartment, the front door can only be opened after access control, and this apartment also has the most recent monitoring system. The access control 'automatically' unlocked, and even the surveillance video stopped working, with a beep.

Omi Keron and Jackson can now enter the first-floor lobby with ease.

In fact, these are the results of the Red Queen's secret invasion, which, by the way, cut off communication here to prevent the security of this apartment from calling the cops.

"Hey! Who are you?"

When security was noticed, an overweight, Mediterranean security guard in a white shirt uniform rushed out of the security room on the right side of the hall with a truncheon.

However, When the security guard noticed that the intruders were heavily armed Omi Keron with several guns aimed at him...

"Damn!" He threw the baton to the ground, raised his hands in fear, and knelt on his knees to show that he posed no threat to Omi Keron.

"Tie him up," the lieutenant said quietly.

"Yes."

An Omi Keron took the nylon cable tie and adhesive tape from the tactical bag hung around his waist and left the team to guard behind him. He skillfully bundled the security backhand and taped his mouth shut before dragging the defenseless security back to the security room.

The lieutenant's group, Group B, and Jackson took the only two elevators to the ninth floor, where Wesker lived. Groups C and D are stationed at the apartment stairwells and fire vents to ensure that no one escapes from the upper floors.

Soon after that.

Two elevators arrive one after the other in the central hall on the ninth floor. The eight Omi Keron from Groups A and B exited the elevator as soon as the gate opened and walked lightly toward the right corridor.

There is no excessive movement noise because the corridors above the second floor are carpeted, and the A and B groups take deliberately light steps.

Jackson, who had no actual combat experience, stood quietly in the hallway.

Groups A and B entered the room with house number 0907. Immediately after, the lieutenant gestured for the two groups A and B to stand on the left and right sides of the door, respectively.

As a result, Omi Keron, who was the furthest away from the door in Group B, voluntarily left the team, squatted halfway in front of the door to examine the structure of the door lock, and took two unlocking tools from the tactical vest's pocket.

The Omi Keron put down his tools, extended his left thumb to signal that the door lock had been unlocked, stood up, and returned to the group B team on the right side of the door in less than a few seconds.

Next.

Omi Keron, the platoon leader of the B group, turned the door handle, opened the door, and hesitantly pushed within.

There was no obstruction.

It appears that Wesker is not in the practice of anti-leeching, or that the door has no anti-leeching at all. Following confirmation, the Omi Keron pulled open the door and raced inside Wesker's flat first, followed by the remaining three Group B members.

The four members of Group B who hurried inside the apartment's living room swiftly opened up the space between them and searched every nook.

Wesker's flat has a similar layout to Jackson's single apartment. The kitchen and living room are connected. The bathroom is on the right side of the entry, and the bedroom is on the left, with the door closed.

There was nothing out of the ordinary in the living room. Group B's three members pointed their rifles towards the bedroom door, and one swiftly went forward to kick it open.

"Boom!" The bedroom door was readily kicked open with the kick.

The guy swiftly fled after kicking in the door to provide his buddies with good shooting vision.

then…

The apartment was filled with muffled noises of "Pu! Pu Pu!"

"Puff! Pop!" with the bullet's movement shattering the furniture, walls, and beds in the house. The two Group B members with the finest shooting angles pulled the trigger and shot in the bedroom, causing havoc.

Examining the home. He noticed Wesker, who was just dressed in black shorts, laying face up on the bedroom carpet. A Samurai Blade handgun that resembles a Beretta 92F and is devoted to S.T.A.R.S. can be spotted on a bedside table not far from Wesker.

Wesker, who was naturally alert, was startled when Group B stormed into the living room.

But as Wesker rolled over and came out of bed to get his gun, the bedroom door was kicked in, and he was attacked by two Omi Keron.

Wesker suffered injuries to his belly, shoulders, arms, and legs. His blood had soaked the red carpet, and he had lost all fighting and action skills. "Cough...cough..." Wesker choked up blood, looked at the two members of Group B who raced into the bedroom, and almost used up his last strength to express his doubts:

"How did the firm discover....."

Wesker is perplexed. It is obvious that there aren't any gaps in the classified job. The company's senior management has very little chance of discovering proof of his disloyalty prior to it being committed. But why is the USS still posted here?

Wesker, no matter how careful he was, never anticipated Jackson to be a traverser.

"..." (x2)

When confronted with Wesker's reservations before his death, the two Omi Keron opted to ignore them.

Jackson arrived not long after, but when he saw Wesker laying in a pool of blood, his brows furrowed reflexively.

Although he was expecting to see more death scenarios in the future, he was still a bit uneasy for the first time, especially the rusty scent of blood, which was quite disgusting.

However, it could nonetheless fall within the tolerance range.

Jackson bore the discomfort, borrowed a suppressor-equipped weapon from an Omi Keron, and then went to the dying Wesker.

Holding a revolver in his right hand, he aimed at Wesker's unwillingness in his eyes and paused for a second.

"Pu!"

"Puff!"

Jackson finally pressed the trigger with his index finger, and with a single shot, he got rid of Wesker fully.
