Purvi is already awake and go for her daily exercise routine and comes back around 7a.m. She goes to kitchen and start preparing breakfast for 3 of them. Her Father, Rakesh was already awake by the time and went for his daily yoga session with his neighbor friends. It's 8a.m and purvi has already prepared breakfast and now waiting for Rakesh and kavin. Rakesh comes back.

: beta kavin nhi dikh rha. abhi utha nhi h kya?

: pta nhi papa, abhi tk woh room se bahr nhi aaye

: toh beta, jakr uthao usse.

: papa aap jaeye na, main breakfast table pr rkhti hu tb tk

: woh main kr lunga. Tum uski friend ho, toh tumhara usse uthana thik hoga. Mujhse toh woh abhi kl he mila h

: okay papa, main jati hu

Purvi went to kavin's room and knocked on the door, but there was no movement inside room. She knocked again and after receiving no reply, she went inside the room. Purvi saw that Kavin is sleeping very soundly and there is a small smile on his face. Purvi went near him to wake him up.

: kavin sir, uthiye 8 bj gye h. aap office k liye late ho jayenge

: hmm.....

: Sir, ... sir (: ...)

: Dad please 10 mins more na

Purvi smiled after hearing "Dad" from Kavin, as he mentioned about his family being in Delhi, but never talked more than that. It's understandable as it's only been two months since he has joined CID, and might not be that comfortable to talk about everything. But it's cute to know that kavin's dad must have waken him up daily , for him to get this habit of calling his dad in sleep.

: kavin sir, uthiye (she shakes him a little)

: Dad, please 10mins main kuch nhi hoga. sone do na

Purvi decided to give him 10mins and went out for a while.

: kya hua beta, kavin utha nhi

: woh thodi der me uth jayenge, aap tb tk ready ho jaeye

: okay

Rakesh went to his room to get ready and after 15min, purvi went to kavin's room again. But he is still sleeping.

: Kavin sir , 15min ho gye h ... ab toh uth jaeye na

: hmm......

Purvi went near kavin and took his blanket off, and drops few water drops on his face. Kavin gets up at once (his eyes are still close).

: dad , kya kr rhe h aap?

: Dad nhi, purvi sir

: Purvi?

Kavin opens his eyes and realizes that he is not in his house right now, and purvi is standing in front of him.

: kya yr... uthana tha toh pyaar se uthati na, ese paani fhek kr kon uthata h?

: Good morning sir, main aap ko 20min se uthane ka try kr rhi hu. aap uthe he nhi toh yeh krna pda. Wese aap office daily time pr phuch kse jate ho?

: woh mujhe dad uthate h.....

: Dad? pr aap k dad toh Delhi me h na

Kavin realized what he just said.

: ha ha, woh Delhi me he h. woh mujhe subah phone kr ke uthate h

: lgta h aap k dad, aap se bhut pyaar krte h. issliye aap ki iss aadat ko sudarna nhi chahte.

: haa woh toh h. or mujhe na jaldi uthne ki aadat nhi h. main apne aap uth jaunga. wese bhi main 8 bje uth jata hu

: 8:30 hone wale h

: kya?

: ha

: tumne mujhe time pr uthaya kyu nhi

: arre .... abhi toh aap ne mna kiya na uthane ko

: chlo yr main ready hokr aata hu. nhi toh hum late ho jayenge

: okay. wese breakfast ready h. aap jaldi aa jaeye

: hmm.

Purvi went out of the room and kavin went to bathroom to get ready for office.

Purvi and Rakesh were waiting for kavin on breakfast table. and after 15-20mins, he joined them.

: Good morning uncle.

: Good morning kavin. ache se neend toh aae na?

: ha uncle, bhut ache se neend aayi. woh main kl jyada thk gya tha na toh issliye aaj late utha. kl se jaldi uthne ki koshis krunga

: rehne dijiye kavin, aap ko humare liye aap ki daily habits change krne ki jrurat nhi. aap bss mujhe bta dena ki aap ko kb tk uthna h. main aap ko utha dungi or breakfast bhi garm garm serve kr dungi.

Kavin has a smile on his face after hearing purvi say this.

: Thanks purvi, but main tumhe preshaan nhi krna chahta. main kl se pkka, 8 bje ready hokr aa junga

: arre thik h beta, tum apne hisaab se uth jana. ab chlo breakfast krte h

: ji uncle.

In breakfast, there were poha, daliya, cornflakes, sandwiches, fruits.

: purvi, yeh tumne bnaya h?

: haa, kyu acha nhi bna kya? agr aap ko kuch or breakfast me khana ho toh main abhi bna deti hu

: arre nhi nhi, breakfast bhut acha and healthy h.

: thank you

: wese Rakesh uncle, aap kya job krte h?

Purvi and Rakesh look at each other.

: woh beta, pehle main ek bhut bda business krta tha, but phir meri tabiyat khrab hone se purvi ne mujhe kisi bhi kaam se duur rkha h. main bss daily apne recovery sessions k liye jata hu.

Rakesh had a big accident few years back and his head was badly injured, thus he has difficulties to stress on work. Kavin felt apologetic and didn't ask about this any further.
