The tournament begins

After the discussion between the siblings, Ryan sets their plan into motion by orchestrating an accident that causes a serious injury to Henry's partner.

Word gets out that Henry's partner, Gabriel had been injured and would be unfitted to participate in the competition.

Upon hearing this, the King summons Henry and AJ to the throne room.

In the throne room

The door swings open as Henry and AJ walk in accompanied by Ryan and a guard.

"Greetings father".

"Have you heard what about Gabriel's accident?" the King inquired.

"What do you mean by Gabriel's accident?" Henry asked.

"Haven't you heard about the incident that happened with Gabriel?" his father asked.

"No, I just returned from the town. I went to have a meeting with the chief", he replied.

"Well Gabriel had an accident and he's been claimed unfit to participate in the tournament", his father disclosed.

"What did you do this time?" Henry asked as he turns towards AJ's direction.

"What are you implying crowned prince?" AJ inquired.

"I know you want to win so badly but did you have to stoop so low?"

"If you're trying to say something, just say it plainly".

"Why did you do that to Gabriel?" Henry asked.

"I had a feeling this was where it was leading to", AJ smiled as he fixes his gaze on Henry.

"Answer my question!"

"You should me better by now brother. Unlike you I won't harm an innocent person just to achieve my goals. And besides, I don't need Gabriel out of the picture to deal with you. Honestly, I need you to win this tournament more than anyone else. That way I can send your world crashing when I want", AJ responded with a smirk.

 "How dare you?!"

"Does that answer your question crowned prince?" AJ asked.

"If you didn't do this then how did Gabriel get injured?"

"How am I supposed to know that?" AJ replied.

"Doesn't this mean Prince Henry have to get another partner? But that would be impossible since the tournament starts tomorrow. What are you going to do Prince Henry?" Ryan inquired.

"He's right brother. How you going to get a partner by tomorrow with that high standard of yours?" AJ questioned.

"How about you mind your business and tell your personal attendant to do the same?"

"Henry what are you going to do? The crowned prince cannot show up to the tournament without a partner", his father reminded.

The door swings open and this time stella walks in accompanied by a female lady in waiting.

"Greetings my King", she greeted.

"Good day Princess Stella. What brings you to the throne room today?" the King inquired.

"I heard about what happened to Gabriel. I was so worried, so I came here looking for Henry", she replied.

"It's rather unfortunate what happened to him. We're trying to find a solution to it", the King stated.

"I have a solution", she declared.

"Let's hear it then".

"I'll be Henry's partner at the tournament", she declared as they all turn to face her while Henry lets out a slight chuckle.

"Is this some sort of joke to you?" Henry questioned.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" she asked with a dead serious look on her face.

"You're not kidding?"

"I cannot allow my fiancé to be defame in front of his people. Therefore, I'll take my place at your side as your partner and especially as your fiancée. I'm going to make sure you win this tournament even if it means trampling on either of our family members", she stated.

"That's a bit harsh Stella", Ryan remarked.

"That's amazing Princess. Spoken like a true daughter in law. I think this is an amazing idea".

"Father!"

"She will be your partner in the tournament and that's final".

"Father, we don't know if she can actually compete", Henry said.

"Then how about we have a one-on-one duel?" she suggested. "If I win then you'll do as your father wishes".

"And if you lose?"

"Then I'll step down as your fiancée and never bother you again", she responded.

"Princess Stella!"

"Do we have a deal or not?" she asked.

"We have a deal", he replied.

"Very well then let's head to the arena".

"Don't worry I'll take it easy on you", Henry assured.

"Unless you want to end up like Gabriel don't even think about holding out on me", she warned.

Amid the grand arena, Henry and Stell faced off against each other with fierce determination in their eyes. Henry wielded a sharp sword, ready to strike at any moment, while Stella held a sturdy staff, poised for defence and counterattack. The clash of metal against wood echoed through the battlefield as the two combatants circled each other, searching for an opening.

With swift movements and expert skill, he lunged at her with his sword, aiming to land a fatal blow. However, she was quick to react, deflecting the attack with her staff and swiftly countering with a series of powerful strikes. Her movements were fluid and graceful, each strike landing with precision and force.

As the battle raged on, it became clear that she was gaining the upper hand. Her mastery of the staff allowed her to anticipate and counter his every move, slowly wearing him down with each strike. With a final, decisive blow, she knocked the sword from his grasp and disarmed him completely.

With Henry defeated, Stella emerged victorious, her staff raised triumphantly above her head. She had proven herself to be the superior fighter, displaying not only physical prowess but also strategic cunning and skill. Henry conceded defeat, humbled by her impressive abilities. And so, in the end, it was Stella who emerged as the clear winner of the fierce battle between them.
