"Everyone please stay in your seats, we'll hand the masks out in an organized manner." Celine announced with a brilliant smile. From the Slytherin table, Theo caught her eye, a small twitch in his lips letting her know he'd be smiling at her right now if he could.

Pansy levitated the blank masks to every student in the hall "These are blank, but enchanted. They've been charmed to confound people and conceal your identity for the entirety of the night. Design it as you wish, but make sure you keep it on the whole evening. The entire point of this ball is to honor those we lost, not to figure out who was best dressed."

"You have a week to figure out what to wear and how to design this. The Battle's anniversary is on Sunday, so do with this time what you want." Celine agreed

From the high table, McGonagall added "Classes the following day will be suspended for everyone's benefit."

Cheers erupted all over the Great Hall, with many students whooping about the cancellation of their classes. On the Gryffindor table, Hermione used the chaos as an opportunity to discuss with Neville what they had to do.

"We need a place where we can hold the meetings." Hermione said

"The Room of—"

"It's broken." Hermione shook her head, feeling a little bad for lying "We can't go there. We need someplace else."

"I told you, Hermione, the Chamber would be a good place to hold it." Ron mumbled "Neither Malfoy nor Goyle will be able to get in."

"It's not a matter of getting in, Ron. It's a matter of knowing." Hermione shook her head "The entrance is in Myrtle's bathroom, remember? She and Draco..."

Ron's face fell ". Never you mind."

Neville just looked between the two, pretending to understand "Luna and I should be able to find a place." He assured them "Will we still be using the coins? Doesn't Malfoy have one?"

Hermione shook her head "Only DA members have them, so we'll still be using the coins."

"Brilliant." Neville grinned as Pansy levitated a mask down his lap "Thanks." He smiled at her, which definitely freaked Pansy out.

"Chill out, Parkinson, you've literally been to several parties together." Ron rolled his eyes, which Pansy used as an opportunity to smack him with the mask at the back of the head "!"

"You're welcome." Pansy smiled at Neville before walking ahead to distribute the rest of the enchanted masks.

"Don't rush, Nev. We won't be starting until next week anyway." Harry assured Neville "Let's just focus on keeping this ball safe. Speaking of, Hermione? Rounds?"

"Right, we should meet about the post assignments tonight." Hermione agreed, looking at the time "After dinner at McGonagall's office."

"I'll let the others know through the coins." Neville nodded
