"Here's our box," Blaise said, gesturing in front of him.
It was Ginny's first quidditch match with the Harpies, and everyone had come to support her in her debut, including Lucius and Narcissa. They were chatting with Hermione's parents, who were apprehensive at first of the other couple in much higher quality clothes, but after a few minutes of friendly conversation, all tension had disappeared.
The large group consisted of Blaise, Draco, Hermione, Lucius and Narcissa, Hermione's mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Harry, Ron, and George. The twelve of them fit into the box easily and were all dressed in dark green and gold colors to match Ginny's uniform.
"Well," Draco said, looking at his dark green sweater. "It's Slytherin colors."
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Be nice."
"I am being nice!" He exclaimed. "Ginny's the only person I would wear these colors for!"
"How charitable of you, Malfoy," Ron said, rolling his eyes as he overheard. While he was still unhappy with the fact that Draco and Hermione were together, he was able to put aside his feelings for Hermione's sake. "Though I will admit, the colors are a little ridiculous."
"Come now, Ron, the green really brings out the red in your hair," Draco chuckled.
Ron scowled at him while George nudged Hermione and whispered "Did I mention that I like your boyfriend?"
Hermione giggled. "You only like him when he's making fun of Ron."
George grinned at her. "Nah, that's just a plus. I like him because he makes you happy."
She smiled at him as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and gave her a quick hug before everyone turned their attention to the pitch as the match was starting. Hermione grinned and waved her flag as the Harpies flew over them, shouting with the rest of the group for Ginny.
As the match went on, Hermione could hear Mr. Weasley explaining the rules of quidditch to her parents, which she laughed at. She knew her parents would probably ask her more questions about the game later, but right now Hermione was too focused on watching her best friend who was busy becoming the star chaser. She was happy though that her parents were enjoying the game, even if they didn't fully understand it at first.
Soon the topic of conversation switched as Narcissa began talking to Hermione's mother, demanding that they both go shopping soon.
"Oh, I don't know, Narcissa," Hermione's mother said hesitantly. "Your taste is a bit more...extravagant than mine."
Narcissa waved her off. "Don't worry, dear. I've been wanting to explore muggle London. And after all, we're going to be in-laws!"
Hermione's mother gave an alarmed look and Lucius reigned his wife in, causing Hermione to laugh. She had tried to tell her parents about the specifics of her relationship with Draco, and had touched on the subject of marriage but her parents had shown some discomfort with that subject. But she didn't outright state that she and Draco would be together forever, especially since they were already hesitant about the topic of marriage.
"Don't worry, Jean," Lucius said to Hermione's mother with a smile. "My wife is just very excited to have Hermione be a part of the family, and excited to have you two be a part of it as well."
Everyone's attention was caught by Ginny scoring a goal and the entire box erupted into cheers, quickly becoming the loudest box in the entire stadium.
Ginny had scored the most goals out of the three chasers, earning her team sixty points just from her goals. The game was relatively short, only lasting three hours as the Harpies' seeker had finally caught the snitch just before the other team's seeker could.
The Harpies took a celebratory lap around the stadium before Ginny pulled away from the team, flying over to the box with her family and friends.
"You were amazing, Gin!" Ron exclaimed.
Everyone was congratulating her as she hovered in front of them happily. When Blaise came forward, she turned to sit sideways on her Firebolt, grinning at him.
"I'm so proud of you, love!" He exclaimed, reaching forward to plant a kiss on her.
Then he took her hand and slowly pulled her to the box, helping her off her broom. She gave him a confused look and asked, "What are you doing? I'm supposed to be going to the locker room."
He simply smiled and took both of her hands in his. "Ginny, you know I love you with all of my heart. I've been trying to find the right time to show you just how much I love you, and I decided that right here, in front of our friends and family, is the right time."
Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening while Blaise pulled a small box out of his pocket and lowered himself to one knee. "Ginevra Molly Weasley, will you marry me?"
Ginny's hands flew to her mouth as the rest of the group along with the rest of the stadium watching cheered with happiness. She stared down at the beautiful ring and then up at Blaise, nodding as she started to cry.
"Yes! Yes I will!" She cried.
Blaise stood up and gave her a deep kiss before slipping the ring onto her finger. She wiped away her tears and stared down at the beautiful oval-cut diamond set in a vintage-style yellow gold halo, tilting her hand slightly back and forth to watch the diamond glint.
The couple was suddenly surrounded by a clan of red heads, who were all admiring the ring and embracing Ginny happily. After a few minutes of fawning over the ring and congratulating Ginny, she finally escaped from the group and hopped back on her broom, promising to be out shortly again after a quick shower
She flew off and everyone congratulated Blaise, who was grinning from ear to ear. Mr. Weasley reached out to shake his hand, saying, "Welcome to the family, son!"
Blaise shook his hand happily and then came face to face with Mrs. Weasley. There was a tense moment between them before she gather him into her arms and squeezed him tightly, much to his surprise.
When she pulled away, she wiped away a tear and nodded at him before saying, "I can see that you are good for her and that you make her happy. Please continue to do that."
"I will," He said, shaken by the sudden show of affection from the Weasley matriarch.
Ginny returned shortly after and Hermione was the first one to grab her and hug her tightly, before demanding to see the ring. They were interrupted by the rest of Ginny's family, who were also demanding to see the beautiful ring. She continued to show it off for the rest of the night, giving Blaise kisses whenever she had the chance to.
And of course, the exciting event was all caught on camera and was the headlining news in the Daily Prophet the next morning, which no one really minded since Rita Skeeter was not the writer of the article.
